Battle field is conducted on a wooden ship in the middle of the sea, during a cat.5 storm, where you are alone on the ship.
While the Sea King is bloodlusted, fully aware of your existence, and is 50 meters away from you before you or anyone else takes any actions.
It's a close fight, so I'm a bit conflicted.
Ignoring the future venerables, their clones (meaning, no Purple Hermit), the Dao Guardians, the Pseudo Venerables, and who knows what.
Just plain Rank 8 guys and Immemorial Beasts (no legendary). Who's the strongest?
I don't remember all of them, lol. But I bet on Giant Sun's pet, forgot it's name. Able to fight equally against 2 other Smart Immemorial Beasts during Fate War.
EDIT: Guess Giant Sun's pet is a legendary Immemorial Beast. So I pick the leader of Northern Region Demonic Force' Leader then, that guy was single handedly scaring the entire Huang Tribe. Plus comfortably held his own against the siege.
When Lumian said this, everyone laughed, they joked on him and mocked the guy for chapters to come. Even Fors looked at him with pity.
Now look again, the guy didn't just punch Adam so hard that he caved in his face, he killed Adam!
Fors had a look on pity for Lumian's goals are too high or something, but look at where we are:
- Almost "killed" Mother Goddess of Depravity
- Badly damaged Primordial Hunger and Inextinguishable Ravings
- Made Circle of Inevitability, the supposed impossible to damage, dodge Lumian's attack out of fear.
- Evenly clashed with Monarch of Decay
- Made Celesial Worthy feel fear
- Defeated the Malevolent Dragon
Among all the characters, the man pitied and laughed at for daring to punch the gods, went beyond all expectations and actually clashed, damaged, and killed the MOST amount of GOOs. Yes, he couldn't have done it alone, but the same applies to everyone.
Gaban was badly injured before fighting, and unlike Loki, he doesn't have Zoan regen and body endurance, Food Regen, and young age.
Now if we do some analysis on logic, considering Gaban managed to clash with Imu comfortably and even damage him somewhat, doesn't this mean that Rayliegh, Gaban, and Roger would be enough to fight Imu equally (teamwork does wonders, just look at Kaido).
Now if we squint harder, the 3 OG Admirals should be relatively on their level right (we know age only lowers stamina, not power, so Rayliegh being only enough to stall Kizaru means Kizaru = Prime Rayliegh)? So doesn't this mean nobody can still comfortably beat 3 Admirals on their own?
I've been looking into some Aisha's megumi(potential) and went - holy f, she really did waste her talents.
Then kept reading through it and thought, wait, isn't she just Geese but like 10× better?
Geese isn't really all that skilled in planning and combat, all he is good at is gathering people. Half of those people didn't even really like Geese, lol.
But Aisha is also good at that, even greater tbh since people don't hate her. Plus her planning and combat potential.
So like, wouldn't it be gg if Man God took her in as an apostle? Imagine if Hitogami ambushed Lilia early on and stole Aisha to turn her into his Ace underling. Would be gg tbh.
Enough lions gathered would have enough Divinity to form their Lion Symbolism. Add enough Lions and that said Symbolism might become a Pillar Symbolism (enough divinity can do stuff, even Pillars are just large clumps of divinity in the end). Add MORE Lions and they might just become the Lion Side of the Original Creator (OC is everything). Add MOREEE Lions and who knows what'll happen (OC is unknown, who knows if he was originally a LOT of Lion).
Am I the only one who wished we saw the popes of each churches play a bigger role? These are the popes afterall, like the TOP dogs of each churches 2nd only to their gods. Like you can argue Arianna is one but she isn't really the pope - she's more like the top agent.
Imagine them aura farming, where the characters choke the moment a pope walk in the room. Like sure, on a base level, they are just an angel (like the dozen others we have seen) but the difference is that seeing one is basically seeing an angel with an army plus a LOT of sealed artifacts. This is the pope afterall, no way they're coming to the place alone.
Plus, showing the pope alone is like understanding 40% of the church cause who else represent the churches personality more than the pope?
Also, I know worldbuilding wise, it's kinda weird seeing the pope walk around or charge into battle but this is fiction afterall, a small twist to logic for entertainment is better (plus we already know that Evernight has her past pope join battle before, so not too unlikely).
I've been thinking how underwhelming the ODs were as an Apocalypse level narrative. I'm talking about story weight, not whether they can blow up the planet or not.
Like, the entire planet was literally killing and dooming each other for 5000+ years and only started working in the last few years. That's how much everyone was offing themselvesmore than the ODs ever did any damage leading to the Apocalypse.
If the planet had any semblance of team work, they would've probably cooked 2 ODs before the fight even started, probably even charged out before the barrier broke and wrecked them.
LotM and GA doesn't need some last minute to be born, Adam only planned to do his at the last moment cause he wanted to play it safe. But as we saw with Klein, even with a revitalized CW (due to Klein allowing him to wake up), it is not impossible to become LotM given enough help. Same logic for PGA, Adam did pretty well despite being forced to confront a revitalized PGA. The guy was still active and talking for months, imagine if he wasn't forced unprepared or PGA didn't got buffed after the whole EBS event almost revived him.
Point is, they still fought on an even ground despite all the BS.
Now let's compare it to KR novels who love using the Apocalypse theme. Usually, before regression, the MCs lost despite all not cooking each other 24/7. You never heard MCs go "if only this didn't happen, we would've won", you only hear how things could've been better. That's how bad their Apocalypse is, even when the Top Tiers of their story sorked together, they all still got packed up.
While LotM Apocalypse is only really an Apocalypse cause the Earth forces are at 1% HP after fighting each other for 5000 years. CW and GA was the 1st biggest blow to earth, wiping out humanity and sealing their top potential. Then ASGs fall was the 3rd biggest blow, exploding the main continent and leading to basically an epoch of civil war among gods.
The Apocalypse arguably killed less or only equal to the amount that died during ASGs fall (it was the main civilization)😭😭😭
So like:
Why was Adam talking to himself here? The shadow is True Creator who knows what he knows and is himself... Guess we know where Amon got his trait of playing around with his Avatars.
Why does Adam act like he planned to start over as a Visionary? "Why I choose Visionary this time", like brother, you didn't choose it. You got packed up and was forced to pick it. Hangedman became TC and the other 3 got eaten, you literally had no other option.
Didn't he literally mention it the next chapter that he only chose Visionary because he was forced to? He originally planned on reviving on Sasrir (hanged Man), but he got betrayed, so why does he act like it's according to plan?
Like sure it's Plan B, but why is bragging about Plan B? Heck, it's not simply just Plan B - it's the only plan left!
"This time"? Isn't it your first time choosing something as foundation?
Your first time was when you crawled out from the Chaos Sea and were forced to go Sun/Hangedman pathway, so you really didn't choose anything.
If this was some hidden twist that Adam was PGA (and not just some revival host), then this line would make sense cause PGA did choose Sun and HM for ASG. Imagine if such a twist happened, ASGs plan to revive actually revived PGA as a KoA, but he was influenced by ASG's sheer desire to save humanity that PGA switched sides.
Also, aside from Adam, no one seems to be doing any research on anything about their abilities or other things. Everyone's just content with what they have while Adam always seem to be trying to find ways to go beyond his capabilities.
The closest we had was Pallez making that cool thing with Avatars which Amon already knew. Then there's Klein who seems to master his skills immediately. But even then, it was still just Adam doing research in regards to GOOs even as a mere KoA. Cheek and Tudor research was stolen from Adam, and their Mirrored OC plan was a gamble rather than a research.
Everyone else just sat their asses waiting for this guy to share his studies.... imagine a KoA Visionary doing research while Wisdom and Steam are just vibing.
