50M - Arizona, USA
Single dad/grandpa looking for my best friend and future wife.
I'm not very good at introductions since I don't really talk about myself unless someone asks. It's probably because I am a big introvert. So, if you want to know something; don't hesitate to ask.
I was saved back in 1993 at the Carmen concert that came to Phoenix. Since then, I have been working on my faith in God. Recently, God has shown me that I need to have patience and trust in His timing and plan. Someone once told me that I am in God's waiting room while He works in my life. So, I lean into Him and read more of God's word as I am in the waiting room.
My journey has been a rough one, but I know God has brought me through every valley.
I've lived in the heat of AZ for my entire life. My family is here and so I haven't had any reason to move out of state.
In my personal time, I like to watch movies/TV shows. Usually I go for more sci-fi/fantasy/action/romance genres. I like to camp up north when I am able to. I like to hike and ride my bicycle when the temps allow. I like to read more fantasy books than non-fiction to help escape from the days worries. I also like to build Lego sets and one day hope to build a Lego city. I also play video games when I don't have more serious tasks to handle.
I'm looking for a woman who puts God first in her life. She has to rely on Him in all aspects of her life, just as I have learned that myself. She has to be a caring soul and have a loving heart. I don't care if she has children, but if they are like my children, I know they will want to meet me before they "approve" her dating me.
Since I am 50 I normally date 35 to 55 year old. I don't mind talking to anyone out of that range since I know God will bring the right woman at the right time and her age won't be the factor, but her heart for Him will be.
Relocation is up for discussion. Like I said, I've been here my entire life and don't mind talking about moving for the right woman. Obviously, less distance means more in person dates. Whereas more distance will mean less. Either way, that can be worked out in the future.
I'm 5'9" with a bit of a belly at 210lbs. Years of drinking Coke has taken it's affect and I am getting into better shape. I was at 249lbs in 2019 and have been able to trim it down.
If you've read this far, thank you for taking the time to read about me. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
Ryan.
