It's the little things you gotta appreciate... Fresh new tires on the EDV I drive daily. They weren't even that bad before

Getting asked to help with directions
Does anyone else get asked for directions all the time. Ive had the same route in this somewhat touristy town for about a year now. Usually at least a couple times a week people will come up to me just for directions knowing that I'm a delivery driver. Funny enough I know this town like the back of my hand by now, more so than my hometown. Maybe I should become a tour guide, know every restaurant, business, public toilets in the area lol.
Happen to anyone else? It's a part of the job I didn't expect when joining up but it makes sense that delivery drivers are some of the best people to ask for directions haha
I know we're all tired of posts like these, but I'm tired of looking through 60 Overflow packages for a (s) "small box"
In the big leagues now, I'd like to thank Dispatch, EDV #14, and Jeff bezos for always supporting me
I take my anger out on tourists by getting them tickets
I live in a tourist heavy town. While I understand tourism is good for the economy, tourists usually behave pretty rudely, leave trash, aren't respectful of the nature and conservation areas. Not all tourists, but at this point I have a pretty good eye for the trouble ones.

There's a big open public parking lot where most people park. Usually you park, pay at the kiosk and you're all set. Where I come in is when I spot a potential tourist I don't like the look of, I'll catch them on the way to the kiosk, tell them I'm a local and say that on (whatever day of the week it is) parking here is free! This is actually true on some days.

I'll be thanked for letting them know, we part ways, and I'll circle back hours later to see an unpaid parking ticket tucked under the windshield.

I'm not proud of it
Been driving the same EDV for a couple months now, just got out in a gas van
I've been spoiled, being in the EDV is the only reason why I can get through my days happily. Being in a gas van after that feels like a punishment, so clunky, no space or shelves, working entirely from the phone, hurts my back and having to keep opening and closing the sliding door, awkwardly jumping out the driver's side door. I know most people still use these things at our DSP and at others but God, it made me realize how inefficient these things are.
Conflicted scheduling for EIAT between two Locals.
Hello, I have a quick question if anyone has been in a similar boat or has advice. I applied to take the EIAT in both Local 4 and Local 84 (Boston & Philadelphia).
I passed my Local 84 EIAT and have an interview scheduled.
The pickle is its scheduled on the same day I'm supposed to take the EIAT in Boston.
Are the interview dates flexible at all? I know people are taking time out of their day to conduct them with so many applicants so I'm prepared for them to say no.
But Ideally I would love to take the EIAT for both to have more of a chance.
If its not moveable I'm struggling between taking the EIAT in a Local that I would prefer (closer to family and will be moving there in a couple years) or continuing with the interview that is guaranteed.
Is there any chance I can make both work?
Thanks so much, I appreciate any advice
