New to the game, with very little experience with ttrpgs in general. However, I've always had a deep love for the red mage of FF. I've done a little research, but it seems like the more I dig up, the more there is to understand.

What I think I know: either going Mystic or Technomancer. If we go Mystic, we grab Warmonger or Crusader as a connection (unsure as to which to go with). If we go Technomancer, we grab Junksword and Junk Armor. Either way, we grab Spell Seargent.

So, my question is: What spells would you recommend? Which class or connection would you vouch for, and more importantly, why? And, most of all, is there a good resource out the for how the game is meant to play out? I see a lot of numbers on Archives of Nethys, but they mean very little to me. Given I feel committed to taking on a spellcaster role, I feel I at least owe it to the table to have some research done before I sit down.

I wasn't playing in the era Glandios first released, but he seems fun. I have no idea where to start though. Do I grab G era copies? V era? What makes the deck tick?

I've been playing premium off and on for a year now, and was hoping to find something that was more normal than Angel Gyze for my friends to play against, but still weird and spicy. Astral Poets have fit that bill, but I'm hoping to branch out more.

Any advice, video links, etc. is welcome, along with other deck recommendations, including in standard. Thanks!

For context, I have a couple imprints from a 4×4 Panzer with Crescent horns, and two sets of 2×2 imprints that when combined make a 4×4 Panzer with a 50% chance of Crescent horns.

So, the question is, when I say I have a 4×4 Panzer for sale, or a Panzer with Crescent horns, etc. what is the buyer expecting? Can I offer the two 2×2 imprints that guarantee the 4×4 Panzer? And, do I need a second Panzer with a Crescent head to offer alongside the 4×4 with horns to guarantee that appearance?

I've seen posts on panzer sales suggesting 75 plat for a 4×4, 150 for a 4×4 Sly head, and 225 for the 4×4 Crescent head.

The goal is that when I go to sell what I've got, I'm meeting community expectations so no one feels cheated. I'd prefer not to get a bad rep over my first couple transactions.
