Kismile HZB-15N Nugget Ice Maker - Auger homes then stops/freezes
Machine was given to me after sitting unused for a while. During troubleshooting found and fixed:
Blocked water line with heavy mineral buildup
Heat sink completely clogged with dust and pet hair
Current issue after cleaning:
Powers on fine, blue ring light solid, no error codes
Compressor and pump both run normally
Auger motors to home position then completely stops
Auger then freezes solid with ice around the shaft
Have to manually thaw it to move again
If nudged manually after homing it will spin freely under its own power till its at home again
Pump only runs briefly at startup during ice mode but runs continuously fine during clean cycle
No grinding, no error lights, acts like everything is normal
Seems like the auger should be spinning continuously but something is stopping it after homing. Motor seems healthy since it runs fine when nudged.
Any ideas what's causing it to stop after homing and not continue spinning?
