I’ve been actively trying to find a copy of this for like two months. Finally had to bite the bullet that blu ray wasn’t an option, but the eBay seller looks to have done me right. Everything looks immaculate. I’m super stoked to watch it this weekend on my continued tour of “non Samurai” Kurosawa titles.
I’ve been wanting these for a while. Pretty stoked.
Gilda couldn’t make it through High and Low. Bummer. It’s a favorite.
All used copies; all in $30. Been looking for
Prince of the City for a minute. Rabid will be perfect for the Halloween season. And Nebraska and The Sessions are nice little pickups.
About four months ago I realized I wanted to start collecting physical media after finally accepting that I will never really “own” any piece of digital media I buy from a streaming company if the decide it isn’t in their interest.
But this is my collection thus far. I inherited a lot from my late dad’s collection in storage and from a friend whose mother had become ill and was moving across country and didn’t want to take her movies.
I’ve also been focusing on trying to find deals at second hand locations. Here’s my collection thus far.
