Saw this a few days ago flying near me. Hey TORTA32, if you're in here... How you doin', girl?
Or bro, I don't discriminate.

Or bro, I don't discriminate.
My wife and I were talking about this episode but couldn't remember the show. I've tried looking and my only guess is Yard Crashers or Turf War, but I can't find an episode describing that. One of the key things I remember is that they had a slope on one side of the driveway, and they had to use explosives to break it up. Also, it may have been HGTV or DIY network.
Didn't know this store existed as it used to be a Payless Shoes.
Did I capture a trifecta? Mallninjashit store, neck beard behind the counter and a mall ninja trying out a sword?
Edit: Based on some of these comments, I just realized I probably gave this shop some free publicity. I dunno, I guess if you want a Rouge knife which a lot of you say is good (I honestly don't know shit about knives) this place has them?
Since the taco holders will be touching food, I'll be sure to use PETG for safety.
Earlier this year a customer asked for a sign for their yard in So Carolina. I agreed but told them about potential problems given what filaments I had on hand. They were ok with it and I cut them a massive discount with a 1 year guarantee.
I did 2 test prints because, ya gotta test stuff sometimes. A small one to confirm the design and filament changes, then a large one (this one) to confirm a 2 week test before sending it off. It measures about 12" x 9".
They were thrilled, loved what they got and it's worked fine for them.
That was in March.
I forgot all about this test as it was in a far off corner of the yard getting beat down in the SoCal desert heat, rain, wind, and several triple digit days. Literally on a south facing slope in direct sunlight out in the open.
Default 0.20mm layer in BBS with an OEM .4mm nozzle. No special tweaks, just correct filament mapping. The black is a 2 year old roll of PETG I tossed in the dryer for a day, everything else is PLA stored out in the open in my office. All of it different brands; Overture, Hatchbox, Polymaker, Paramount, Creality, Sunlu, etc. A couple with no labels. All random stuff cobbled together.
It's now been over 4 months with just the slight warping and the right orange part delaminated on the edge. Aside from that, nothing else. All the colors are still holding up, nothing is falling apart. I'll leave it out for a full year and see how it is next March.
Anyways, can you mix PLA and PETG? Yes. It's not the end of the world if you do. But should you? Depends on the application. Something structural? Nah. Something decorative? Sure. Will I do it again in the future? Why not.
Also, I saw someone post a question earlier about mixing PLA and PETG get voted down and eventually delete their post. (Some of you in the comments got problems.)
Hey kid if you're still out there wanting to mix PLA and PETG, go for it and let us know how it turns out.
So I see a lot people coming into v this sub with a quick question about something simple or maybe complex, but still they cut to the chase? See, those are the ones I kinda enjoy seeing. And from what I see they seem to get the best interactions and conversations going. But it's not just this sub, it's also other ones.
Then someone will post a long drawn out story about this thing but then that happened and he said this and she said that, and then he did this thing that they don't understand, but he was being normal and it's not like him, or maybe it is, but whatever you just get it.
But then they start to tell us about some benign aspect of their lives that adds nothing to the story. Like how their friend is making AI music that's really shitty, or some other dumb thing that literally, no one cares about.
Then most of the top comments are sometimes a bit of an F-U or trolling or just outright "I'm not reading that", then there's the people trying to offer actual advice or answer the question or my favorites, the ones who start to type a comment and then realize, "Yeah, I don't care enough to bother." and delete what they were about to post.
Anyways, you ever wonder why? I know I do. But what do you think is their reason for doing so?
One time I was making a comment on a hobby sub, because I have hobbies. It's a bit of a gatekeeper type of sub where people shit on you if you don't have the latest and greatest, or if you do, you're a shill, because they have an original 1st edition rare thing that they think is somehow superior because "back in my day..." But anyways, my comment was a bit of an FU troll comment offering actual advice and answering their question. But then right when I was about to hit "Post" I just deleted my comment.
Do any of you do that? If so, why?
