





These were made in Italy in the late 70’s early 80’s by EKO. I talked to the original EKO foreman who told me that these guitars are spruce bodies sourced from the Italian Alps where Antonio Stradivari sourced woods for his violins. I got it in a EBay auction in 2016 for $250 iirc.
It’s wired to a 4 way switch for series parallel switching because I was thinking about how the old Danelectro stuff was wired in series. A fun guitar.
Scored this at GC yesterday. Been collecting Guild stuff for a while and this is my first Hoboken era Guild. Pearwood back and sides on this one.
I use it with synths, downtuned stuff and some clean surf type stuff. Also works well with pedals.
