I remember seeing a TikTok with George Carlin and he was talking about politics and he said something about the fact that if you have a favorite politician, then you’re one of the brainwashed people. Sorry I know that’s sort of vague, but I don’t remember the rest of the clip.
So back in June 2025 I had a very stressful event happen and my heart went into a fib. I spent the night in the hospital on a cardizem drip and converted back to sinus rhythm in the morning. I just wanted to believe it was a one time event. I went back to the ER in December but it was just frequent PACs I was having.
Well, my sleep has been terrible lately and Tuesday morning when I woke up, I was looking at some bills and got anxious, and my heart went back into a fib. heart rate was in the 170s. They did two cardioversions in the ER that didn’t work had me on a cardizem drip and it didn’t work. They started me on sotalol and it converted me. So I have to stay three days in the hospital due to the fact that this medication can cause an arrhythmia itself.
I guess I’m just a little down because I wanted to believe this wouldn’t happen to me again. I’m looking through this sub and seeing that there are people that go in and out of a fib all the time but I’m guessing that it’s controlled when it happens. I’m thinking that I should just sign up for an ablation now. Anyways, thanks for listening.
