What are your thoughts on From the Fog mod?
I think it's a pretty solid mod. I really like how Herobrine acts there, he doesn't mess with you that much and doesn't jump in your face every 5 seconds or instakills you. Honestly, I think that's how Herobrine mods should be and how he would behave if he was really in Minecraft. This mod makes him more natural to the game and his "canon" lore, you could say, but those are just my thoughts.
Sub is under the new management! [write any suggestions under this post]
Hello everyone! I'm a new mod here and I'm kinda exited to begin to moderate this community. In the following days I will be cleaning mess, adding new rules, flairs, etc. Just overall making the community better and trying to revive it.
I will be straightforward, I don't know what people usually post here, except for creepypastas and "encounters", as I noticed, so I will be making everything to my liking, but if you want to suggest something, you are welcomed to do so and I will try my best to appease both of us or at the very least explain why decisions are the way they are.
The only thing I can promise is that under the new management the sub will become better! ☺️
Entity's yap session.
Prolly talking about how awesome he is or how badassly he blew up some house, Idk, I didn't imagine context for this scene, srry.
[desktop web] Reddit keeps making my account "private" no matter how much I fix this. Noticed other people on Reddit having same issue, so I think this is some new bug.
Recently I noticed that everything on my account goes into "private". Specifically, posts and comments become hidden, no one can message me and no one can follow me. I tried fixing it a several times, but the next day everything returns and I don't know what to do about it. I noticed a while ago another person on Reddit having same issue, they were an artist and people were complaining that they kept their account private (therefore couldn't check their character's story and progress), but they said that they tried to make it public, but it kept getting private too.
Is there anything can be done about it, or do I just need to wait for it to get fixed in some update? Or does it show that my account private only to me, but anyone else sees it normal? Thanks!
Do you think Herobrine will be the next villain in Minecraft movie? [discussion]
I heard many things hinting at that, and I think it would be pretty cool. Idk why they didn't thought of making him the villain in the first movie, but it is as it is I guess. There's gonna be chaos in theaters again, lol.
Player/Cyan design + ideas for his character
I imagine him to be some kind of a cop and Nitro(Blixer) is a rockstar druggie who not-so-secretly sells triangles, especially during his concerts, 'cause he believes in everyone having fun. And thus you could say Cyan's a dirty cop, to some extend?? ('cause he, like, allows Nitro to peacefully sell drugs in exchange that he won't try to corrupt the world again, and everyone kinda knows about it because Nitro is, like, the best guitarist ever and his concerts are dope like that and almost everyone visits them)
(oh, and his name is Tristam btw, and if anyone is interested in that lore, you can ask questions I guess. I still work on it so I don't promise that it'll be constant or logical tho)
Is it still possible to request a subreddit that has active mods, but they cannot moderate due to restrictions, and the main mod is inactive and doesn't respond, thus sub the continued to be unmoderated?
Hello everyone! Recently I've ran into this situation where I've been on this one subreddit and I noted that for a couple of months it has been unmoderated, and therefore began to be flooded with unrelated content and the ones that break the rules. I contacted moderators about it via mod mail so they could explain the lack of responsibility, even suggested my help to become a mod and suggested that I will fill a request for that sub if they do not care about it anymore, and eventually I found out that the owner of the sub has been inactive for a couple of months and one of the "active" moderators informed me after a day that they actually want to keep to moderate the said subreddit, but cannot because of the restrictions on removing the posts/comments, and that they do not really want to lose their position. I tried to contact the owner via DM, but they did not respond, so I am not sure what to do in this situation. As far as I know or at least understand, you need a direct confirmation from the mods that they are ready to give moderation to another person, but I was not and the subreddit keeps being unmoderated in that way and probably will not until the owner will return, which is unknown when will happen. I suggested that if the owner will not respond or be active throughout the month, I will try to request, but I am not sure if I should bother. I also saw another moderator there commenting, but as far as I understood, they do not have the permission to remove posts either or even read mod mail, because I even reported posts and they are still there.
I am still trying to resolve things and keep contact with them, but any help on this situation will be appreciated. I really care about that community and I do not want it to be garbaged with whatever, and as much as I believe that the said "active" moderator genuinely cares about the community, they still cannot do anything even if they want to, so nothing much changes.
Anyone wants to discuss anything?
Want to kind of bring some activity to this community.
Currently I'm waiting for 5 days to pass, so I can apply to become a mod. That's long and boring, but eh, whatever it takes I guess.
About Herobrine.. I remember being genuinely scared to visit the mines as a kid, even on peaceful, fearing to meet him there lol. I got such anxiety, that looking back, it's just ridiculous. Because of that I never actually passed the game or did anything more than building.
What are your experiences or anything you'd like to share/discuss?
Anniversary art from the Just Shapes & Beats Twitter account!
Lachhh's 8th Anniversary Twitter Thread
Today on Twitter/X, Lachhh posted this thread about Just Shapes & Beat's 8th anniversary!
>Happy birthday shapesnbeats!
>Getting out from under my "full-focus-game-dev-production"-rock to make an annual recap from Berzerk!
>First, a little insight about our production pipeline :
Berzerk is splitted in two teams, each one working on a separate game. My team is still working on Project Meteor while Etienne and Marc's team are working on their game.
>This one will actually be announced pretty soon! *Wink wink keep an eye on PC Gamer Show. It's an entire new IP, they worked pretty hard on it. I hope you'll be excited as much as the team are to finally show something new. 😄
>As for me, I'm still working on my project full time. It's now been 4 years. I know it takes a long time and I sound like a broken record at this point, but I can only say that I'm working as hard as I can.
>I wake up in the morning thinking about the project, go to sleep with the project in mind. I even found myself waking up at 3am, jumping on my laptop to write down ideas before I forget them.
>Before we finally reveal what the heck is Project Meteor, we need to clear up a few things. First, we had some small JS&B-related beats to announce.
>One of them was done earlier this month ; the physical release of shapesnbeats with FanGamer! (You can grab yourself a copy over here : https://fangamer.com/products/just-shapes-beats-game-nintendo-switch).
>We also released on Amazon's Luna earlier this month, and we have another small beat coming up soon.
>Second reason, and it's gonna sound weird but, we have to work around the giant release of GTA6 coming this year (alledgedly). This means we need to wait until everyone has finished talking about it before having a chance to be heard.
>We did that mistake once with Infernax ; we released 2 weeks before Elden Ring and the results were very damaging to the game’s success and the team’s moral. It's part of the reality of being indie game devs. It's hard, but we need adapt.
>So I know this is another "STAY-TUNED-GUYS-COOL-STUFF-COMING-UP-SOON-I-SWEAR", there's just a way to properly do this, and I'm so thankful for you all for being so patient with us. ❤️
>Thanks to everyone sharing their shapesnbeats fan art! My kids are so excited when suddenly their tiktok home page get flooded with JS&B fan art, cosplay, fan levels, and even plushies now! You make me a very happy and proud dad. I love you so much <3.
>Love you all, and happy birthday shapesnbeats!
Hey, are mods active on this sub?
Saw a bunch of unrelated posts and wanted to ask, maybe people out here saw them moderating. I send a mod mail and they didn't respond yet, maybe I just need to wait more. I also checked their accounts, and many of them are active on other subs, but they do not moderate this one? Which is weird, but whatever.
Hey everyone, does this sub has active mods?
Just wanted to ask since I saw unrelated description and lack of rules. If not, I'd like to try to give this community a chance, lol.
Another reaction pic
I feel like this sub will turn into me posting reaction pics with occasional art 'cause no one else posts here, but anyway. Atp I need to make a separate flair for that 😭 /j or gen idk for now
Got inspired by Filippo Dusatti's "BLEED THE CODE WHITE" and decided to draw him.
It's basically him destroying some random house. I also changed his design a bit and now he has more aura 🥹🔥
Randomly got this video, decided to share it here:

I think that's so cool that some people still remember Entity 303 and still make content with him 🥹
Hello everyone! Sorry if that is a stupid question, but I struggle to understand what exactly counts as "enemies to lovers" trope because of how "broad" the definition appears to be. Some people think that the characters explicitly should hate each other for almost the whole story (or in some cases for entire book series) and become lovers only at the very end (or only in the last book). Some think that simple rivalry to lovers is enough to label it like that. Some think that violence, toxicity and abuse is important to show the "enemy" part, and anything softer is not considered to be that trope. And that is what confuses me, because it seems like there are so many definitions and I don't know if my story fits this criteria or not. I just want to label it properly and not mislead those who seek that particular genre.
So, here's the dynamic I was thinking for my story:
There are two main characters, Maya and Wren. They work together as bodyguards for some celebrity, thus are forced to be in close proximity and communicate regardless of personal feelings. Wren dislikes Maya as a person, because Maya was neglectful in marriage with her ex and brother to Wren, Luca, and Maya dislikes Wren because she is her ex-husband's sister, though not that much and mostly out of constant sad reminder. Wren first-hand saw how upset Luca was after divorce and he told her countless of times that he hates Maya and how awful she was, and whether that's actually truth or not, Wren believes him more because, well, he's her brother, and not like Maya ever tried to properly defend herself. Before that, Maya and Wren were in a pretty decent professional relationship, even somewhat friendly, and after the conflict they grew more cold towards each other. Not blatant hate, just a pretty strong disdain and lots of awkwardness. And throughout the story, as they will spend even more time together, remember their old shenanigans, and learn that they have much more in common and that Maya overall is not that bad and actually a pretty decent person, Wren starts to develop feelings and at the same time fights her internal conflict of disliking Maya and supporting her brother, and personal feelings (it sounds fast, but in the full story it will happen more gradually and there will be moments where Wren will even briefly forget about hatred, just to remember about it and have guilt for feeling so positive). Maya, on the other hand, tries to silently move on, pretend like nothing happened, and learns from Wren to become a better person.
So, would it be right to call it that "enemies to lovers", or a "light" version of it, perhaps? If not, what is more appropriate label would be? As I mentioned, they do not hate each other that much, but there's clearly tension between them, a conflict because of which they began to be "enemies", and overall it's similar to what people generally call enemies to lovers trope, except, again, I am not sure, because they are not technically enemies and just dislike each other, and Maya doesn't even hate Wren that much. 😭
