double trouble au is when you mix an idiot (me) and their two random interests (blocktales and a mild amount of date everything) because this au is just 'what if weapons were sentient and had physical forms!!!'

these weapon things are called weapon souls and are in MOSTLY every weapon. weapon souls can transfer between weapons or just be in a weapon at all (they kinda just float around in nothingness but are able to see everything and float back into a weapon at any time).

weapon souls and even normal people have SWORD ENERGY inside of them, this allows them to do cool stuff. weapon souls have to use a bit of their sword energy to become physical (and cant do it for long periods of time UNLESS they are a sfoth sword (who have a lot of sword energy inside of them) and people need to use sword energy to command their weapons.

there are a LOT of canon weapon souls in this au so far (some weapon souls are literally already existing blocktales characters (slasher is a weapon soul and so is the ancients!(the ancients are literally firebrand)

since ive got over the main points, here is just a quickfire section of basic stuff and facts:

• most of the sfoth swords are kinda assholes (windforce being an exception)
• dynamite is genderfluid bcs every time they explode they reform as a different look and choose different pronouns to fit
• if i was to ever make a soundtrack for this au (never gonna happen but still) i would connect sfoth swords to specific instruments or similar things
• i tried calculating the ancients hight just to make a mildly accurate high cart
• sword is insecure and the sfoth swords dont help
• jayne's favourite song is miss connections by chase icon
