Time for another "Just for Fun Poll"
Will it be Mike's arrival in Brokenwood? Or perhaps when we first meet our fan favorite Frankie Oades? Maybe when a crooked critic takes a bath in Merlot or was it Pinot(Gina will tell us!)? Or perhaps when Mike's favorite (/s) sport is at the center of the motive?
As a reminder to all: Please remember that different countries get the episodes at different times/days/months, so please do not make any statements about the most current season under any of these older seasons. Vague remarks about seeing a character again in the new season or similar type comments are fine, though.

The wild rock pigeon that set up residence with my chicken flock went broody & stole a nest(& eggs) from the hens. I kept taking all but one of the eggs away. However, the hens kept giving her more eggs.😒 Finally, after 2 weeks, she decided to lay her own egg! She defended that egg valiantly, and I was beaten by the cutest little wings when I tried to collect chicken eggs. Alas, her little egg was broken, probably by a lumbering chicken. At this point, Pidgie decided she'd had enough & quit sitting on eggs.

She's now hunting for a mate, or at least that's what it seems like to me. Unfortunately, there are no other pigeons in my area. She follows the white-wing doves around my yard but never strays too far. I can always hear her coming in for a landing from behind me with those wings beating loudly. I'm not allowed close to her, but she has decided that I can be trusted to a point.😆

I've been wondering if I should find her a rock pigeon and release it in my yard so she has a mate. Thoughts?

This poll gives us a week to make a decision because I know it's a tough one!
My laptop that was primarily used to run my emby server just hit me with blue screen. I am considering replacing it instead of repair as this is a very old model(think Win7).
I have a monitor(+keyboards, mouse), so that isn't part of the cost. I am trying to keep the cost as low as possible while still being somewhat forward thinking. Should I go with one of the mini-computers or lean towards a refurbished 'Dell' running Win11 w/DDR4 level tech?
