Spotted the trusty Kingswood - same spot as u/2JDubs5
Bonus Brokenwood council mobile library. There is a tennis club close by which is a hive of filming activity too.

Just walking home from work and found this little beauty parked up!!
Hey Brokenwood fans,
So cool to see that this show from our awesome little country is so popular with you all! We are 2 kiwis who talk about our favourite Australian and New Zealand TV shows in podcast episodes.
We have spoken about our favourite Brokenwood episodes here. Any big ones we missed or any from Season 12 (which we haven't managed to watch yet) that belong on our list?
Thanks :)
I swear …
Is it even legally possible for one attorney (solicitor) to represent/defend several people (and possibly herself) in any single investigation?
😂
The overlap between Brokenwood's and My Life's casts is not slim, and it seems to be a rule (or a tradition, or an old charter, or something) that any actor playing one of the scruffy, low-status, usually criminal, occasionally delightful Oades family in one must be a well-dressed socialite in the other. So far, we've seen:
Joel Tobeck (Bobby Oades) as 'chef to the rich and famous' Tyler Wicks.
Jamie Irvine (Johnny Oades) as rich idiot Malcolm Boyd.
Sinead Fitzgerald (Fennella Richards) as Parker, a wealthy family's nanny.
Millen Baird (Les Oades) as country club manager Ricardo.
No sign yet of Frodo, Rhys, Janis or Errol, but we live in hope. Perhaps they'll appear in future seasons as fashion models, corporate tycoons or minor royals.
One of the things that didn’t gel with me about early episodes/seasons of Brokenwood was Mike’s choices in Country Music.
Maybe Kiwi Country is different from (old school) American Country, but the music always seemed forced … or off. The lyrics grated me more than anything.
Since I’m now in S11 (and it might have been apparent in S10 also and I just didn’t notice it) the music seems much more palatable, melodic, and heartfelt.
Thoughts?
Edit:
I did not (and do not) mean to offend anyone with my ‘hate’ statement about the show’s music—I’ve actually reworded the entire post.
Hate was actually too strong a word.
I was just trying to say that, to my ears, the music for the show has really gotten a lot better in later seasons.
Love all y’all. 💚
(Yes, we really do say ‘y’all’ here in Texas).

Which was your favorite moment from series 3?
Was it meeting the late Mrs. Ray Neilson on 'The Lord of the RingZ' tours? Could it have been crossing paths with the not-so-late Declan after a night of live action 'Cluedo' (that's 'Clue' for North Americans😉)? Perhaps all the intrigue around the auto body shop & car show tickled your fancy? Or, maybe the Santa who passed before he rode on the main float in the holiday parade had you scratching your head?
