Noob needs assistance with iCloud backup

Hello,

I had to delete WhatsApp from my phone to make emergency storage room for videos and photos and I think I just shot myself in the foot as it appears I had no backup!

WhatsApp is toggled on in iCloud Drive on my phone, but all the backup features are toggled off in WhatsApp.

So I believe my last option is my iCloud backup, which was last done on May 7th.

Now - if I upload this backup to my phone, I assume I will lose all the photos I took in the last 9 days…?

If anybody can give me a few ideas I may not have thought about, plz feel free to do so!

Rab Namche letting water through

I’m not sure if this is normal or not but my impression was that this was a goretex jacket. However after my third use in the rain (first heavy rain), after 1h or so I was soaked through especially at the sleeves. Is this normal or could it be defective?

What the heck is up with PR9?!

I know it’s been closed forever after the first waterfall due to landslides but the first half has been opened and just recently closed. People are still going and reporting not seeing anything special to justify the closure. Any input on what’s going on?
