2003 Johnson 150 (J150PLSTF) carburetor
Can someone please tell me what the orifice in the blue circle is for? Also, my boat was hard to start so I rebuilt the carburetors. It will start up easily and sit at around 1000 RPM for about five seconds, then the RPMs drop to 800, 400, then it stalls. If I manage to get it into gear, the engine runs fine when under throttle. Do I need to adjust the idle screw in the red circle? Thanks for any help or suggestions! PS - this photo was prior to the rebuild, hence the fuel/oil mix visible.
