Sliding saw blade

Looking for a recommendation on blades for our sliding saw 12”. Currently we use a mix Diablo blades from Home Depot and no name branded blades from our blade sharpening guy. My question is are there better blades that I could order online? The Diablo blades don’t chip but don’t tend to last as long and the no name blades chip the back of the material like crazy. We mainly cut 19mm birch ply and mdf core finish material so a blade recommendations for both types would be nice.

Paint finish on face frame connections

Just wondering if I’m being too picky with our shop painter about these cracks where the face frame joints meet. Has anyone else dealt with this issue, and if so, how did you fix it?

We use Titebond II to glue our face frames together along with two pocket holes on the back of each joint. Before paint, we also fill every seam and nail hole with bondo. We’ve tried a bunch of different fillers over time, but the results always seem to come back the same.
