What is your experience with Ultrawide VA monitors ?

I'm currently planing to buy a 2k 34" ultrawide monitor and it seems to be that VA and OLED monitors are the only options on the market. It's almost impossible to find an ultrawide with an IPS panel. As a long time IPS user I'd like to ask what is your experience with VA panels and how much of a deal breaker the "black smearing" is for you ?

cs2 gets stuck on steam overlay while on wayland

I use the SDL_VIDEO_DRIVER=wayland for 4:3 streched but lately this started happening.

If i ever open steam overlay by checking someone's profile or trying to sell something from the inventory it opens the overlay but the keyboard shortcut doesn't toggle it on or off and i can't click on anything while on the overlay
