G6 Any problems without wifi?

We’re considering getting a G6 LR for a family car. But we live in an apartment with an underground car park that has absolutely zero cell reception and no wifi. Will there be any issues with unlocking the car, and the car logging into the right profile, and functioning with zero wifi during startup?

Luxury EV suggestions?

What’s the best luxury EV within $85k. We are considering buying an EV for a new family car (upgrading from Audi a1) and I’ll be the one driving it 90% of the time. I’m on my P’s for the next 2 years, so we can’t get p plate prohibited vehicles like the Tesla Model Y, or BMW iX3. (NSW P-PLATE LEGAL) Looking for something with a luxurious interior, good backseats, that’s pretty flashy with some bells and whistles given the price point. Main preference is a bright interior, anything but black. Also really good speakers. Not opposed to buying used. Good handling and practicality would be a bonus. Can be a car that will arrive to Australia later, since we’ll be buying later down the year.

Current considerations are the: Mercedes CLA shooting brake, Tesla model 3 rwd, Cadilac Optiq, Xpeng new G6 LR, and the upcoming Xpeng L03 and G9L.

Please let me know if you have any vehicle suggestions.

Before & After of Speaker Setup

Last year, I asked for speaker advice for my room on this subreddit, and earlier this year, I completed my 7.1 setup. I got all the speakers 2nd hand.

BOHLENDER GRAEBENER
Radia 420i (L+R), Radia 220i (Center) & Radia 210i (Subwoofer) - $358

Energy Connoisseur C-1 Bookshelves (Surrounds) - $93

Bookshelf speaker stands - $11

Sony SS-MSP67L (Rear Surr.) - $36

Total 7.1 Speaker Costs: $498 USD

The star of the show is definitely the BG Radia series speakers, which make up the L+R, Center and Sub in the setup. The speakers use magnetic planar technology with planar ribbon line source drivers and planar ribbon tweeter. Even when I’m watching YouTube videos, the speakers feel like portals, and audio is passing through from their room into mine. When I put my ear right up against it, it feels like the person is really standing there behind the speaker. And if they are outside or somewhere, it’s like the speaker is a perfect window/portal into their environment. The subwoofer has not one but two 10-inch, long-throw Kevlar woofers. The reactive forces of each woofer apparently cancel one another. It’s clean, harmonic, and you can feel the bass in your body and whatever you’re sitting on. The Subwoofer broke a 2 months ago (electrical fuse issue) and I had to spend $278 to get it repaired, but definitely worth it.

(I know deals/used finds aren’t allowed, but this is a showcase of equipment I already own, and it’s from people on FB marketplace, not stores, so I hope including the costs are allowed.)

Also managed to get a 2nd hand UB820 for $280. AVR is Denon X1800H. TV is Bravia 8 77”.
