I tested the P7+ in Germany today

Hello,

I was testing the P7+ today in Germany.

I was driving the Long Range Version in Black and white interior. The car feels really expensive. There was a little bit of hardplastic. The build quality is really good.

I can confirm that this car has one pedal driving. It stopped on his own without hitting the brakes and activated the park/hold system. I was testing a Tesla not long ago and had hoped that this feature will find his way to Xpeng. I'm happy that one pedal driving is available.

I did get a little nauseous at first, because I'm not used to the head up display, but it went away after 30 minutes of driving.

I drove 170 km/h tops and it felt like I'm driving only 100km/h. The seats are very comfortable. The

The sound is okay. There are probably some settings to adjust to make it sound better. The sound on the Xpeng was better than the Tesla Mod 3 RWD for me at least.

The software felt fast. The cameras on the Tesla are a bit better tho. I couldn't play much around, because I only had like 1 hour to drive around. The camera in the rearview mirror was disappointing. It was dazzling a lot. Maybe there is a foil you can buy for that, but it annoyed me a lot. I just used the normal rearview mirror.

This car is huge though. It was a bit hard to find parking spots in the city.

I'm still struggling to decide if I buy this car or a Tesla Model 3.

If you have other questions, feel free to ask me.

XPENG stock fell below the issue price

I think XPENG's stock price seems to be cursed. It has fallen below the issue price. Do you have the same stock investors? How are you?

G6 std or long range

Greetings

Surprised by the small range difference between standar and long range. Anyone have some actual experience from the difference? Long term, planning on a lot of road trips with a caravan. One would expect more difference from an extra 12kwh battery. Better battery life? Better charging experience? Please share some first hand experience.

Cheers

Happiness to all of you

XPeng G9 for a family with 3 small kids? Easy to live with daily?

Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying an XPeng G9 for our family and would love some honest feedback from owners or people who tested it.
We have 3 small kids, so space, comfort and practicality are really important for us. I’m especially curious about:
Is the cabin spacious enough for 3 child seats?
How practical is it for daily family life?
Is it easy to manoeuvre and park in tight European streets/parking garages?
Does it feel too big for everyday driving?
How good are the cameras/sensors for city driving?
Any long-term reliability or software concerns?
What attracts me most is the comfort, rear space and value compared with other premium electric SUVs. But I’m a bit worried about the size for everyday use.
From what I’ve read so far, most owners seem very happy with the comfort and family usability, although some mention it can feel large in tighter parking situations.
Would really appreciate real-world experiences, especially from families with kids.

Anyone here with real experience repairing crash-damaged EVs or Xpengs specifically?

I’m currently repairing an Xpeng G9 where the curtain airbags in the roof have deployed after an accident.

This is my first time repairing a damaged Xpeng, so I’m trying to understand how the system works after airbag deployment.

On VW ID.3/ID.4 cars I’ve repaired before, the HV battery pyrofuse often blows during a crash and needs replacement before the car will drive again.

My questions are:

  • Does the Xpeng G9 have a similar pyrofuse / battery safety fuse setup?
  • Is there a crash disconnect inside the HV battery pack?
  • Or is the vehicle mainly locked by the airbag control module (ACU/SRS module) after deployment?
  • Can the airbag module simply be reset/reprogrammed?
  • Has anyone here repaired a G9 after airbag deployment?
  • Any common modules or components that fail after a crash?

The airbags deployed are mainly the roof curtain airbags.

Trying to understand the correct repair path before I start replacing unnecessary parts.

Any information, wiring diagrams, service manual info, or real-world experience would be greatly appreciated.

G9 front passenger seat adjustment — no cushion tilt / knee support?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently test driving an XPeng G9 AWD Performance here in the Netherlands, and I’m honestly a bit torn. The car is amazing in many ways like performance, comfort, suspension, charging speed, interior feel,but I noticed something that really surprised me.

On the driver’s seat, I can adjust the seat base in a more complete way: I can raise/lower the rear part of the seat and also adjust the front part near the knees, so the thigh support angle feels much better.
However, on the front passenger seat, it seems I can only raise/lower the rear part / overall position, but I cannot lift the front cushion near the knees. I’m not talking about the extendable leg support or making the seat longer - I mean the actual cushion tilt / front height adjustment that changes the angle under the thighs.
For a car in this price range, this feels like a strange omission, especially because the driver’s seat has it.

Did anyone find a hidden setting, calibration, or workaround for the passenger seat?
Has anyone managed to improve the passenger seating position with accessories or any adjustment trick?

I really like the car, but this detail is bothering me because the rest of the car feels so premium. Curious to hear from actual owners. Did this bother you too, or am I overthinking it?

Problema primo giorno auto

Inoltre:

la connessione internet dell’auto va e viene;

Spotify spesso non funziona per assenza di connessione;

il GPS ogni tanto si blocca sulla posizione;

anche usando hotspot del telefono il problema resta;

Android Auto e Apple CarPlay non compaiono proprio nel sistema.

Uso un Samsung S26 Ultra e Android Auto wireless funziona perfettamente su altre auto, quindi non sembra un problema del telefono.

Ho già provato:

soft reset infotainment;

reti Wi-Fi diverse e hotspot;

Question for X9 Owners

Hi, I was wondering if and how you could connect Headphones to the Display in the back?

And if someone is watching a movie in the back with Headphones on, is it possible to listen to music in the front over the car speakers?

Thank you!

Lock / Unlock Sound on G6 (UK)

I am currently running software version 5.8.78905.

I have attempted to upload a custom sound via the front USB port (using a correctly formatted and named LockChime.wav file), but the  option to change the Unlock / Lock sounds does not currently appear in my vehicle’s sound settings menu.

I know it’s available in other European countries - anyone come across this?

Xpeng g6 VS Tesla Model Y Standard

Hi,

So i can almost chose a new leasecar. I have the choice to either chose the Xpeng G6 or the Tesla Model Y standard (Netherlands).

What is the better choice? Do some of you have any suggestions? I heard that tesla also doesnt have autopilot anymore... hear alot of noise about the european models of Xpeng malfunctioning etc.

(For the xpeng i need to pay 60 euros more monthly than the Model Y standard).

Thanks.

Edit: thanks all. I think i will go for the xpeng because of comments and nicer interior :D

Wireless Carplay doesn't work anymore

Hi!

I got a G6 Long Range from 2025 (but before the facelift).

I've had my share of software issues, but one thing that actually been working all the time was wireless Carplay.

That is, until now!

It started bugging out ever since the latext XOS version (5.8.7.8905) and iOS 26.4 (it happened the same week here in Sweden)

Basically it tries to connect then it says "need to reconnect the device".

Cable works every time!

Soft reset does nothing.

Upgraded to iOS 26.5 - still the same issue

Out of 10 times, it connects properly about 2 times.

What to do?

Some drivers in Denmark claims that their dealership fixed "the issue" in 30 minutes.

But I have no idea what to do.

It's due for a service soon, so it would be great if I could explain the "issue" (and solution) properly.
