Hi I’m new here. My family member was gifted a ham since this person works at a food bank.

I’m being instructed to cook it but I notice the ham looks weird. I’m not sure though since I don’t eat meat, so I’m not used to what it should normally look like.

Some parts had meat juice inside and a little slimy in other areas.

Also the ham was refrigerated and sealed the entire time but it’s past its use by date of 7 days. Plus this product says there’s no preservatives.

I really have no idea about this situation. Please advise. They want to feed the dogs some of this as well.
