PI lawyers - best way to split origination bonus w/ attorney friend?

I am a Plaintiff's PI lawyer. A good friend of mine from law school who is now also an attorney (not PI) referred me a case. My firm gets the typical 1/3 of settlement fee. The origination bonus we usually get is 1/3 of the firm's 1/3. what is the best way to split this fee with my friend? right down the middle? 60/40?

I want to be fair to both of us. I wouldn't have this case without him, but at the same time, all he is doing is saying "hey my friend needs a lawyer" and I will be handling everything myself from intake to settlement. Also don't wanna be an asshole and wanna make sure he feels comfortable referring me more cases in the future

How to command respect from male attorneys?

I am 25 and was admitted about 2-3 months ago. Court appearances obviously still make me nervous and I am timid as a result and am not one to talk back/argue because I’m just not confident if what I’m saying is correct..(basically I just don’t wanna be loud and wrong at the same time). It doesn’t help that I look much younger than 25.

I am frequently called “young lady” and get taken advantage of by male attorneys. My boss told me I need to start being more assertive and bitchy. I would love to make this happen and I really do think it’ll come with time and experience but I’d love to know if anyone has tips for how I can begin to implement this personality trait.

Appreciate any advice!!
