How to play Drow Ranger?

Hello!

I've been enjoying playing drow ranger a lot lately, yet struggling a bit even though she's very meta rn.

I find the lane to be very easy unless enemy can effectively all in you, which I guess is normal since she is a very squishy hero. Lane usually goes very well CS wise until the offlaner gets his lvl 6 and then i feel like i cannot last hit in lane unless under t1 tower which kinda sucks. My main issue with the hero is between this timing of like 10-25 minutes. I'm not sure if i should be farming or coming to fights and I feel like I need to play super defensive.

Also would like some input on itemization. I tend to buy falcon blade, treads, dragon lance every single game but then I find Drow can itemize in very different ways. Usually I end up going for a yasha into pike or manta. Sometimes I buy aghs too if I feel like I need more wave clear or against healing heroes. Can you ever skip manta entirely on drow? Then later i pick up a bkb either before or after some butterfly/ silver edge. I've found that butterfly gives me less value than silver edge lately tbh. So i usually end up getting silver edge daedalus. instead of butterfly. Another question I had was regarding satanic, when should you consider buying satanic? I've honestly had most success not buying it since I feel like if you do get jumped you are most likely dead before you get to satanic heal up in many cases.

Also any general drow ranger tips a low mmr scrub like me would miss are highly appreciated.

TY in advance.

Tips for swapping from Carry to Midlane

Hi!

I've pretty much been a carry player since I started playing dota but frankly I've gotten a bit bored of playing carry and have found myself wanting to play more pos 4 and 2. I would say midlane is my worst role right now since I really haven't played all that much.

I have a few heroes that I would like to learn in mind: Ember, Puck, QoP, Primal Beast and maybe Tinker some point down the line. I know most of these heroes are quite complex but they're what draw me to the midlane.

I usually don't tend to struggle with the last hitting aspect of mid but more the macro gameplay. Any tips for midlane macro play and tips for these particular heroes would be greatly appreciated, as well as of course just any general tips for swapping to mid.

Best carry heroes against Nightstalker

Basically the title. I feel like my whole carry pool get destroyed by Nightstalker for most of the game. Rn I play PL, FV, Drow, Tiny, Spectre, Clinkz and they all feel bad against NS for different reasons.

Any suggestions for good carries right now against NS would be appreciated. And tips on how to play against him when you can't counterpick.

Kjerag 2 or Prodigio Pro for very light runners

Hi I posted last week about some shoes and got a lot of great responses and have mostly landed on the Prodigio Pro for my uses, but the Kjerag 2 seems like another good option I've been considering. I know it will mostly come down to fit but I'm quite curious if anyone has any experience running in the Kjerag 2 for 50k+. Bear in mind I'm very light at only 59ish kg so I tend not to need as much cushioning as most people.

Norda 001a vs La Sportiva Prodigio Pro vs Arc'teryx Sylan 2

Hello!

I've been looking to buy a new pair of trail shoes for the upcoming season. Right now my main contenders are the Norda 001a, La Sportiva Prodigio Pro, Arc'teryx Sylan 2.

For some context I run a lot in the Carpathian mountains in Romania during the summer. I also run a bunch on gravel roads and single track in the forests around the mountains. I'm very light so I don't mind having a slightly less cushioned shoe and therefore don't like super bulky overly cushioned shoes. My foot is quite narrow as well.

I'm looking for a shoe to do most of my running in this season, with the exception of pure gravel runs or mixed road runs. I will probably go up to around 50-60k as my longest run and many 30k+ runs which I would want the shoe to be comfortable for.

My main contenders right now are, as the title states, the Norda 001a, La Sportiva Prodigio Pro and Arc'teryx Sylan 2. If anyone has tried any of these shoes I would love to hear your thoughts on them and I'm open to any other suggestions.

Thank you in advance.

How to fix post laning stage as carry.

I have this issue on a few carries where I have an extremely easy lane I feel and I have good 10 minute network but once the lane stops and I should still just be farming I’m not that efficient. I’m crusader btw.
I often find myself dying once or twice at the 10-15 minute mark on heroes like faceless void because I overestimate how strong I am since I won lane. This delays what would’ve been a very good farming item timing.
It feels very bad to be super passive after winning lane hard but I know it’s more important to farm. To me the decision making after a lost lane is a lot easier since I know I can’t show on risky waves and have to just jungle in most cases.
How should I think about getting farm while not being passive? This issue happens most on faceless void for me.
Ty in advance
