Hi all, I've found a few posts about this when searching but none than mention invoicing directly, so here's the deal:

If I'm working from the UK for a US company, fully remote, 40 hours a week, but I can take time off whenever I want (with a few days' notice) and must send them a monthly invoice for total hours worked (max 40hrs/week), at a set rate per hour, am I self-employed or employed under UK law? They pay the gross amount into a UK bank account at the current exchange rate.
