This is basically GCJ
If GCJ hates Stellar Blade for “sexualizing women” then they should also hate Bayonetta because back in 2014 feminists also hated Bayonetta for “sexualizing women”. But GCJ doesn’t hate Bayonetta and instead they claim she’s a “feminist and empowering queer icon” even though Hideki Kamiya debunked the queer headcanons.
When it comes to the debate on “sexualization” I just ask: Is it possible for any art or media to feature any sexy women without it being “sexualization” or is it always inherently and automatically “sexualization” for any art or media to feature any sexy women at all?
Why is Stellar Blade “evil” and “misogynistic” for “sexualizing women” but Bayonetta isn’t?
One of the GCJ members in the comments basically said that “Stellar Blade is misogynistic but Nier: Automata isn’t misogynistic” even though Nier dev, Yoko Taro, is a big fan of Stellar Blade. Stellar Blade even has a Nier: Automata collaboration DLC.
GCJ pretends to be against Collective Shout but they both share the same seething hatred for sexy female video game characters.
The comments to the GCJ post are filled with leftists claiming Stellar Blade is “garbage trash on gameplay alone”. I know this is false because I played the game and I had lots of fun. And I’m not alone. Stellar Blade has a 9/10 user score on Meta Critic and 95% positive reviews on Steam.
I wonder what these woke leftist feminist puritans think of the NSFW art community in general. Because I feel like they’re just the woke leftist equivalent of trad right-wing theoconservative christian-nationalist republicans when it comes to that stuff.
I can’t wait to play as Tina Armstrong wearing her iconic American flag bikini cowgirl outfit.
You just know GCJ is gonna hate this game with seething rage for having sexy women and try to claim the game is “garbage trash on gameplay alone” when trying to hide their real gripes with the game like what they did with Stellar Blade. I hope this paragraph doesn’t break the “be civil” rule of this sub.
