.8 to 2.5 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Just an update: I'm an older guy who has a goal of a 25lb weight loss prior to upcoming mid December.

I just completed the .8 dose (with no side effects except slight constipation) and have lost 8 lbs which I'm really glad about. I expected less in the first month.

I begin the 2.5 dose tomorrow. If things go similarly I expect by mid November to reach that goal.

I'm hoping the new dose helps me achieve it without eventually going to the 5.5 dose! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Foundayo and Rosuvastatin

Hello again.

I'm noticing something after 4 days on Foundayo.

Statins have never been kind to me causing muscle and joint pain. However, rosuvastatin has done wonders for me providing perfect cholesterol and to some degree lower triglycerides though sugar is the main enemy where reduction in intake is the primary benefit. I continue to take rosuvastatin and just put up with the discomfort.

But, since starting Foundayo I'm noticing I don't have muscle or joint pain anymore. 🤷🤷

Anyone else have this experience? Is it a coincidence? Can 4 days on have that affect already?

Grapefruit and Foundayo: Yes or No?

I just began my treatment yesterday with Foundayo. Fingers crossed.

Now, there was a warning added by CVS about not eating grapefruit.

I went and read everything from Eli Lilly's printed documentation which accompanies the drug which discusses adverse reactions, contraindications, dosage, etc. I then went to the official Lilly Foundayo website and read everything on Foundayo which repeats the printed documentation as well as their FAQ's.

NOWHERE DOES LILLY MENTION OR WARN ABOUT GRAPEFRUIT.

Having worked for Merck in my past life, something like that was always mentioned in their documentation and website.

Personally, I don't eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice but occasionally have grapefruit flavored drinks.

Is that label from CVS a "JUST IN CASE CYA" on their part and a recommendation?

Thank you!

GO: Wines

We all know GO gets extraordinary discounts on some wines, especially those we've never heard of or are never pushed in the retail market. Of course many are overstock or discontinued.

I recently found this Chardonnay from Sonoma County for $4.99 a bottle. When I looked online at other retailers it is selling for $25 to $30 per bottle.

I bought one bottle and it's absolutely delicious! It tastes more than a lesser $10 wine.

It is also highly rated from wine enthusiasts and reviewers .

I am running back again today to GO since it's only two blocks from me and buying a few more bottles before they are gone for good.

GO Performance Mid 2026

Grocery Outlet is in the middle of a transitional turnaround phase. The chain is aggressively investing in "extreme value" marketing campaigns and reworking its inventory mix to win back price-sensitive shoppers.
CEO Jason Potter openly noted to investors that leadership is "not satisfied with our current level of performance." While the stock has faced downward pressure over the last 12 months, analysts still expect the business to stabilize and remain profitable overall for the full fiscal year 2026 as it cleans up its store portfolio.
