[USA-OH] [H] PayPal, Local Cash [W] CPU, Motherboard, DDR4 RAM

Hi all,

Looking for some used parts to start putting together a budget build for myself and my very old Steam backlog.

CPU/MOBO: Ryzen 3000 and newer, or Intel 11th Gen and newer with support for PCIe Gen 4 for more GPU options.

I’d like to keep my budget around $200 or less for a CPU/MOBO combo.

RAM: 16 GB DDR4 \~$70 just looking at prices on the sub. If that’s not realistic, feel free to send other offers.

Resident Evil 8 Village of Shadows Difficulty on New Game

Hi all,

Returning to Resident Evil 8 after a few years. I did one play through a few years ago, but I lost my save file so I have to start all over.

I’m looking to get all the achievements, and wanted to see if it is feasible to play through Village of Shadows on NG with Infinite Ammo unlocked for all weapons since I have purchased all the DLC and unlocks already. Seems like it would be very doable with the hardest part being the first encounter until you get to the Duke and obtain the PZ Handcannon.

Basically, I’m just seeing if I can save myself a play through on Casual, and just do a Village of Shadows run and then a knife only speedrun on NG+. If I’m going to be banging my head against the wall on VoS, I’d rather just do a casual play through first.

Edit: To give an idea of my “skill” I’ve completed all achievements on RE7 including the brutal Ethan Must Die and Joel Must Die DLCs. It wasn’t easy, but I did it.

Traditional or Roth 401k

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on my employer’s 401k plan.

Currently, I’ve been doing only Roth contributions for the early part of my career. I’ve been looking more into retirement planning recently, and want to optimize how I am saving. I am thinking of switching from Roth to Traditional 401k contributions moving forward since I am firmly in the 22% bracket.

Age: 30
Expected retirement: 65-67
Marital Status: Married Filing Jointly
Income: ~$150,000 combined (~$100,000 my income)
Mortgage: $230,000 remaining, 5.75%

Roth 401k: $50,000
Roth IRA: $10,000
HSA: $18,000 (no longer offered by current employer)

My plan:
Traditional 401k: 5% (take full advantage of the match)
Roth IRA: 5% ($5,000 per year)
Mortgage: 5% “extra” due to current interest rate (getting a guaranteed 5.75% return)

Open to thoughts and suggestions! Hoping this will spark a good discussion to help others.
