Just my cowlick or beginning of thinning/ balding?

Hey all, so I’ve had a large cowlick on the top since I was a kid. In the attached short video you will see the cowlick causing a little circular patch of skin to show through at the top left hand side.

I never pay much attention to the back of my head but just recently I noticed that my scalp is visible on the middle/ right side of the back of my head which you will see here below the cowlick I mentioned. Is this just an extension of my cowlick causing scalp to show through more than I’ve noticed before? Or is this for certain the beginning of thinning happening? When I grow my hair out my cowlick is very large on the back of my head but I’ve never noticed this much scalp showing until recently. It’s not hardly as noticeable in normal lighting compared to the light directly on my head in this video.

Any and all input would be GREATLY appreciated as I’ve been stressing pretty hard about this. Thank you!

Just my cowlick or certain thinking/ early stage balding?

Hey guys. 29M here. So I’ve had a pretty gnarly cowlick my whole life, ever since I was little. It’s not often I look at the back of my head but was Messi g with my hair after the shower and could feel my cowlick was being hard to work with while combing. Using my phone in the mirror to look at the back of my head I got concerned as (and this is most noticeable in the third photo) I feel like the visible scalp caused my cowlick is l much more noticeable/ a larger area.

I haven’t been having hair come out in the shower or clumps coming out or anything like that, but I’m concerned that this is thinning and or early stage balding. I don’t have history of balding in my family (opposite actually, Dad is in late 60’s with a decent head of hair for his age) but I’m starting to get concerned.

I do shave my head once in a blue moon and like the look on me (me with shaved head in the last picture) but the thought of starting to loose my hair is really starting to effect my mental.

Any advice/thoughts/opinions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

▲ 14 r/Glocks

Hey guys, I picked up a brand new Glock 42 today at my LGS. Once I got home and got it out of the box I noticed these little silver specs in the metal’s finish on the slide. I own some other Glocks (Gen 5: 19,30,26) and don’t have this on any of them. I’ve actually never seen this on a Glock before. Is this a defect in the factory finish process? Trying to figure out what this is. I know it’s a tool and not the end of the world but getting my brand new pistol without any defects even if cosmetic would be pretty swell. Tried some gun oil on it and nothing changed.
