Artwork I made of how I imagined the Blood Ox Fiend from The Great Immortal Souls Series [LastRock Spoilers]

I started this when I was in the middle of reading LastRock last year, but completely forgot about it. The description of the Blood Ox really stood out to me. He was a very memorable character I’ve wanted to draw my interpretation of him ever since.

I finally have a chance to jump into listening to Book 4 soon!

Real cool that Avatar Kyoshi has Assist characters are straight from the Novels

Could've just been something plain like Chin the Conqueror or something. Rangi, Kelsang, and Yun!

My 14 Day Fast is ending soon

6'4" M

SW: 370lb (168kg)

CW: 351lb (159kg)

GW: 221lb (100kg)

I had a bit of an epiphany about my health and how I wasn't doing a lot about it. On May 5th I was determined to do something about it to prove to myself that food doesn't control me and went into it cold turkey. I have fasted before and I have fasted for 14 days before but that was only once many years ago and it was also the last time I had genuinely fasted. It would be wiser to do smaller fasts first but I just needed to do something instead of overthinking into doing nothing.

I consumed nothing but water and took 9 capsules per day of fasting salts capsules (1000mg Sodium, 500mg Potassium, and 70mg Magnesium per 3 capsules). I worked, smoked marijuana every day of the fast, and kept myself busy with projects and activities. No exercise, I wanted to walk an 1hr a day but I decided not to.

I could've kept going. I have plenty of energy and I am still physically strong. The only weakness I felt was my cardio. Walking up a single flight of stairs left me winded for minutes. However, I learned a lot about my relationship with food and moderation. I'm going to move to eating healthier meals and 48-72 hour fasts each week. I probably wouldn't do an extended fast this long again, but I could see myself doing a 7 day fast in the future, but I'm more interested in building a lifestyle I can maintain.

I lost 19 lb on the scale but my shirts fit much better, my leg swelling disappeared, and I was really productive with my time and discovered new interests.

I plan to start refeeding on either broth or making a light soup with no solids for a couple days and then see how I feel. It was an interesting experience is all I'll say.

Say what you want about whether their last attempt was good or bad, but I think its great they was able to take the feedback, improve their skills, and give us at least an idea of what this show could look like with more. I personally think its an improvement
