Thoughts on trailblazer's development as an individual after a journey through 5 planets + herta's(Peerless gem) space station

Personally I don't see it, hate to say it but TB is such a bland protagonist, they do have hype moments and aura at least, when it comes to everything else, idk, goals ?, motivations ?, relationships ?, Enemies/rivals ?, what efforts have they personally taking towards finding out their past and origins, I know they're self inserts but self inserts can be done right!

As an example, looking at the stellaron hunters, back in kafka's companion quest iirc and in the 3.8 story quest with firefly, they did something where we could refuse a request from a desperate kafka and ignoring a promise from a "dying" firefly, if you refuse kafka you miss out on the quest, similarly with firefly you miss out on some interactions and a fireworks scene, unfortunately this is an illusion of a choice and a false sense of developments, whichever option you pick, your relationship stays the same with both of them, people who dislike them and refuse them due to any reasons and people who like them and are interested in deepening the bond, both audiences are treated the same way by the characters afterwards

This is a failure as self insert character because you aren't even being inserted, you're just playing a soulless puppet, a better way to preserve immersion is to have firefly/kafka behave differently towards trailblazers that rejected/accepted their requests, that small detail would add much more depth to tb, the choices they make and the people around, whichever way you look at it, self insert or as their own character, TB sucks at both

Tldr: TB ain't done nothing but step back

Real people actually think himeko will die in honkai no stakes rail

Don't worry characters don't die here well unless you were already dead before the events of the game (Rip misha and Gallagoat), we have a better chance at seeing asta poor than seeing himeko die

Edit: Spelling error

Himeko nova or Momo rem what will robin decide ?

u/Re_Arcy — 3 days ago

Himeko nova whiners

Himeko nova mains complaining about a broken character will never not be funny to me and it's a fact that she'll get her upgrades like previous main push, she got nerfed and they act like she's worse than hook, Gilgamesh and saber mains would kill to have what they're complaining about, it's be the absolute best dps or brick with these people

I know there's a lot of unease

I know many people aren't happy with robin's sp and that's fair but I just want to add somethings that would maybe change some people's minds

A summer themed skin and region doesn't mean there wouldn't be developments and lore, as we can already see from the text in the sp drip marketing, it implies there's definitely going to be something going on, so to those afraid that it's just going to be a filler patch, I highly doubt that, hsr has always been lore heavy, I'm very sure we'll definitely see developments from robin as a character and good role in the main story

Another thing I saw people being worried about is that, the summer skin would stand out, wouldn't fit the teams, is not good enough,It's speculated that robin will getting a skin shortly, I know it's sucks that they're putting a price tag on an alternative but I still it's great that they're giving an option to people that don't want to use the summer outfit

There are many characters in hsr, not everyone is guaranteed a SP, we're lucky enough for robin to get a SP, it may not fit our ideal sp but I'm still very grateful she's getting a sp, I think everything is going to be fine, rather than complaining about a design that's already done, I think there's much more to look forward to, like her possible new songs which I'm most excited about

And please don't get wrong, i'm not trying to silence complaints or tell people they can't have an opinion, I'm saying it's not all bad and we can try to give it a chance, personally I like the outfit even though I expected something else but then again I'm so bias, I'd probably like whatever she wears haha, I just hope people can see the bright side

It's almost time

Sp Robin is going to be revealed in a few hours, I honestly can't wait, let's cross our fingers and hope she looks even better than before, I can't wait to see her development

Never doubted the king for a second

Personally I'm really happy with the changes, call it petty but I don't like a character I've been anticipating ends up a slave to another character, I was never a fan of the idea of turning one character into a dlc for another one, I appreciate well done synergies but sometimes they play too much into it just makes the character mediocre without the one they were designed for, now I'm happy Gilgamesh can do more on his own without saber, he can even function well as a main dps even if it's not as good as dual carry, I do mourn the infinite loop tho but at least he still helps saber, he can support her and stand well on his own without her

I dislike the "Main push" term

Warning rant Ahead

I've always disliked the unfair amount favouritism that it justifies, we pull every character with the same rates and currency now tell me why it's fair for some of them to be treated so terribly while some getting all the special treatment because of bs like "Main push", now listen I can understand the fact that some characters have to be special to shake things up and I would be fine with it if it wasn't done so poorly, as someone who is always unfortunate to like characters that get the short end of the stick it has gotten really tiring, people tell me I'm delusional for expecting himeko to synergize with herta because she's a main push, after tribbie who is great generalist herta has gotten literally nothing (don't even mention anaxa) , two new erudition characters drop and expecting one of them to synergize with the emanator of erudition is greedy meanwhile main pushes get everything and more and it's ok because well they're main push and this isn't just about herta, it's about every character the feels like a side show, and just to be clear no hate to the main push characters, I like a bunch of them, what I dislike is how the "less important" characters are treated

Well that's how I feel at least, how does everyone else feel about the main push thing ?

About the recent leaks

The new Robin leaks have reminded me about how toxic the community can be especially when it comes to the matters regarding the so called "main push", the possibility of robin replacing a certain character has turned her to a big target, I initially didn't care if she did become a replacement but now I really don't want her to become one just to keep all this toxicity away, what about you guys, do you want her to remain true to the leak?
