Dad's first grandfather clock

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a case like this one? My father passed this spring. We're slowly clearing out the house as mom moved to an apartment. He build two grandfather clocks, the first of which is now in my living room. The other is a fairly standard Emperor 120 with a moon dial movement. I always liked this clock due to its simplicity and clean lines. I've been trying to find another example of the case (I know the movement is Hermle, from Emperor Clock company, around the late 1960s or early 1970s). jThere's a good chance it was built from magazine or "mail a self-address stamped envelope" plans using stock moldings and cabinet plywood. There's some discoloration on the face due to 60 years of daylight savings time but otherwise it is in very good condition. Seems to be gaining about a minute a day but I can probably work that out with adjustments. To set the hands you have to lift up on the entire top and prop it up, it is hinged on the rear.

Rodecaster video core Replacement/upgrade MacOS

I've been going through the available information about the Rodecaster Video line, and specifically the Rodecaster Core, as a potential upgrade for my MacOS/OBS setup I use for occasional meeting recordings and potentially expanding my capabilities. I'd like to get more use out of the box than just recording and streaming and also would like to replace my aging Scarlett 6i6 USB audio device with something more modern and capable of high bit rate audio without falling over. Currently on my Mac I use the 6i6 as a source for studio monitoring and capture for OBS. The audio is routed using RougeAmoeba Sound Source and Loopback. This all works well enough in the studio but in a live recording/streaming production it gets very hard to run all the different pieces, which is why I'm looking at the Rodecaster Video Core (or S, but I like the Core's form factor and that it keeps cables in the rack. I have buttons set up on my stream deck and a Playstation controller with OBS that work well. The biggest frustration with my current setup is audio sync, and the juggling act.

My main question is, what does MacOS see when I plug in the Rodecaster Video? will it show up as a system audio device that I can plug my monitors and headphones into, replacing the Scarlett 6i6? Is it just another audio source that can be used for basic audio tasks like Logic, FCP, etc? Are the Aphex effects available to all software or only within the Rode app? If I add a couple of Rode wireless lav mics will they show up as individual inputs or only as part of a stereo mix?

I know I'm asking a lot of very specific questions that probably are outside the normal/intended use for the Rodecaster A/V line, but I'm just trying to wrap my head around what it does and what it can do.
