It’s really important to me to date Jewish men and even though I’m 21 I don’t want to waste my time. But I’ve seen a trend that Reform men don’t care about dating/marrying someone Jewish. Do y’all think this is an accurate take or reform men also care about marrying/dating Jewish?
I probably fall somewhere in between reform and conservative but I’ve come to the conclusion that I will never want to be orthodox. I want to sit next to my spouse in services and have my daughter read from the Torah. But I feel like men with similar religious views don’t care about marrying someone who is also Jewish, but it’s very important to me as I want my kids to be raised Jewish. Do y’all think this is an accurate take for men under 30 or is marrying a Jew also important to them.
I am a relatively new voter and before October 7th would’ve called myself pretty liberal and a Democrat. After though I find myself isolated and forgot ab in American politics. I would call myself a Zionist in the sense that I believe the land of Israel should exist as the Jewish homeland. I don’t understand how people can look at thousands of old synagogues and say wow the Jews are the colonizers here. But I acknowledge Palestinian suffering at the hands of the current Israeli government and carelessness of some military action. People in the US love to make this conflict black and white when it’s not and it’s really upsetting. It frustrates me that many liberals haven’t condemned October 7th or Hamas. I don’t like how freeing Palestine is somehow a key decision factor when deciding what politician to vote for. But at the end of the day I will never vote for any candidate that has ever supported Trump without unwavering supper no matter what he’s done. Does any other Jewish voter feel like this?
