NEVERMIND - I reinserted it with the utmost care and made sure it was secure in the PCIe slot. It seems to be working great now but I will definitely have to upgrade my motherboard anyways. Thank you for checking.

You should know what I’m talking about if you’re here but to give you the gist of what I’m asking, my 3060Ti fits perfectly into the PCIe slot of my motherboard (GA-A320m-S2H), using all of the space (16x), and performs as expected, considering the PCIe 3.0 limitation. The 5060Ti I have has about half as long of a PCIe lane as that (8x), it does not perfectly fit the slot. I can put it into the slot, but it does not lock in, due to the shorter lane size, and gaming performance is unstable to say the least.

I get lower CPU-limited framerate than with my 3060Ti, and for some reason Overwatch was hitting 100% usage with my CPU, maxing out at like 220fps. I could get to 600fps with that same CPU-limited scenario, with the 3060Ti. The highest I’ve been able to push the GPU is 92% with Cyberpunk 2077, using path tracing and DLSS performance.

I should mention I have completely reinstalled display drivers twice. Once using NVCleanstall, another time using DDU followed by again reinstalling the drivers using NVCleanstall. I have not tried to take it out and put it back in to see if that changes anything yet but I’m going to do that shortly after this is posted. Doubt it will change much

Have I majorly fucked up? Is this expected behavior when not all PCIe lanes are used? Is it time to go motherboard shopping?

I don’t normally come here. I’m not actually a listener of the podcast (though I once was), but I figure this is really the only place to ask considering he has at least some involvement with YouTube COD OGs, what the hell is happening?

It’s clear he’s had issues for some time as a search for his name on this sub would tell you, but over the past month and a half I’ve been seeing him post tweets that are almost manic in nature, possibly while drunk or high, then deleting them shortly after.

I and a couple others have been telling him to get help under these posts but usually shortly after he deletes them. He has stopped doing this on July 4th and left those 4 posts you see in the first screenshot. Anyone with contact to him or his family know what’s going on? I just wanna know if I watched this guy slowly deteriorate and kill himself since like mid-May.

If you want to know more in case you haven’t followed (you’ll have to take my word for this (his as well), as I screenshotted none of it before it was all deleted): he is convinced that billionaires are stalking and harassing him, fucking up his life, Ludwig for some reason is in on this. He did tell a family member about this… situation he’s having and they told him he’s clearly unwell, needs to get help, to which you can guess what his response was (further isolation from them). Then he quits his job, as you see in that screenshot.

About a week and a half passes, and now we’re at July 4th which seems to be his last activity before whatever he did. Obviously I hope it’s hospitalization, and not death in the case that he did something dumb, but I don’t know the guy. Just watched his videos after somehow finding them in like 2013-14. If anyone knows anything, it would be nice to know
