I've long been a fan of what I'll call incremental life sim sandbox RPGs, games where you 'build up a guy', similar to an RPG, but with no actual skill required, and in kind of a cozy way where you're mostly concerned with mundane parts of their lives and there's no permanent consequences for failing.

Stick RPG, for example, you're just collecting skills and money, getting promotions in various jobs, making some moral choices, with a little sprinkle of meta-progression, and combat that's present but so simple and exploitable that you can just grind up OP weapons and stats and win every fight with a few clicks.

My Pet Protector, another example, has you collect skills, money, advance in various jobs, includes some town building, and again some combat but it literally plays itself.

Now, these are some of my favorite games of all time, but the reason I can't just replay them anymore, and a big complaint I have, is that they simply lack significant content. They both come from the Flash era, small indie games with a scale tiny compared to most modern games, where even with some minor knowledge you'll just complete all the major content in a single sitting.

So, I understand what I'm asking for is extremely niche and specific, but does anyone know of any games that sort of check all the boxes but are way more developed? Something else that tows this line between a cozy simple incremental life sim and a traditional RPG, but might actually take me a week to complete at least?
