Better Money Management System Help!

Hey Business Gal and Girls
I had a question and I tried asking Alex but no response but I will ask it here!

Short Version- How would you structure the finances of a capital intensive business to balance personal income, reinvestment, and an emergency fund?

Long Version

Hey Guys

I run a business buying and reselling phones, iPads, and other electronics. As the business has grown, I’ve realized I need a real money management system.

Recently I took a big risk and lost about $30,000. I’ll recover, but to me this was a wake up call. I had to hustle hard just to cover my bills, and it made me realize I don’t have a good system for separating my business finances from my personal finances.

When I had a regular job, it was simple. I would pay my bills, set aside money for savings, and enjoy what was left. When I first started the business, I just spent less than I made and treated the business money like it was my own.

Now the business has reached a new level. It’s much more capital intensive, inventory takes a lot more cash, and because of longer payment cycles which makes money always available when I need it. I know I need a better financial system.
If you were in my position, how would you structure things so you could:

  1. Pay yourself consistently
  2. Keep enough cash in the business to continue growing
  3. Build an emergency fund for both yourself and the business

I've heard guys do a percentage of profits, ive heard set a amount

love to hear yall advice.
Also, bonus question: How do you handle taxes as a business owner? I feel like nobody really talks about that part. 😂

Quick Question about tour!

I attended Ed’s concert in Santa Clara, and it was awesome. I did like the last one, the Mathematics Tour, better because of the circle, but this was still really awesome, and I enjoyed it. Especially since he said he was going away because of dad life, I’m really glad I went. However, I had some questions that you guys may or may not know the answers to!

  1. Where is Ed before the show? Does he ever get to enjoy himself, like going outside the day before or after? I always wonder where he goes after the show is done.

  2. Is there a way to see the concert visuals? When I was watching the performance, I really liked the visuals, especially for songs like “Bloodstream” or his intro to the concert. Hopefully, these assets are available somewhere.

  3. He mention about able to vote for songs, I didn’t see this and I wonder where we could’ve had voted to make it the song list

Really enjoyed the show and got some really good merch ( expensive asf but really glad I did)

Girlfriend in Pain!

My girlfriend is in serious pain, at night she get sharp pain in her lower stomach. Here the timeline

She started her period started on June 4 and ended on June 8.

She took Plan B on June 9.

She began bleeding again on June 15. The bleeding has been heavy and constant, along with sharp lower abdominal pain that comes and goes.

She normally has heavy periods and uses size 6 pads. She changes her pad about 2 times per day, and the pads are fully soaked when changed when she was bleeding

From May through June, she has taken a total of 4-5 Plan B pills but had no symptom like this prior.

She has stop the bleeding but the sharp pains hasn’t stopped yet. It been about 2 weeks. I research and I know it mention this could be a side effect but this is gone for such a while.

Any advice would be appreciated!
