remark

ive just recently got my U1 economics grade back and i got a B or 73/100 UMS or 54/80 rawand im thinking about remarking

for context, ALL (but my first one) of my past papers i scored around 60-65/80 raw and my 20 markers usually range between 15-17 while 14 markers range from 12 to 14 and i mostly get 7 to 8 for 8 markers, these marks are also graded by 3 different AI and an actual edexcel economics marker.

i also did little test after getting my score, lets say for MCs i got 4/6, for all of the 4 markers i got unlucky and only got 3/4 for all of them, for 6 markers, lets say i got 6/8 and for the long questions i got 8/14 + 10/20.

that test mark is STILL higher than my actual mark by 1.

i dont know what went wrong, im still waiting for a copy of my paper so when i get that its should be clear but for this unit i expected at least 60..

im planning on getting my paper remarked, any suggestions/advices through dms/ commenting are appreciated! 🙏

Recommendation letter from the people in morgan stanely, an acutal lawyer that graduated from HKU LLB and was in dean’s list aswell as a professor that used to teach LLB in city U but transferred to HKU later

im only 15 and started my a levels in may but im really tryna get into those 2 or CUHK’s LLB

questions about requirements for LLB alone

is the minimum requirment for LLB 3A* in A levels of 4A* ? I saw alot of people with more than 3-4A* get rejected but accepted people with 2A* and A, is this because of mainlanders?

lf advice

im 15 yr old and just started taking their a levels, i'm taking Econ, Maths and psychology and aiming for A* on Econ and A for the two other subjects.

For oct's session, I originally planned on taking U2 and U4 for econ aswell as P2 but I didn't realise that you needed one of the 3 additional units in maths to get a good AS grade (which i chose stats)

Now im not quite sure how much units I should take for oct's session since I'm afraid taking U2,U4 of Econ along with P1 (resit), P2 and S1 would be too much. Could yall give me some advices? Thanks!

Wtf is wrong wit grade boundaries?

I was gonna switch from geo to psychology right and I checked the GB for psychology.

You need a whopping 32/64 for an A.
Is there something I’m missing? You telling me getting half the paper correct gives you an A?
the 2025 may one was even worse, 27/64 for an A???

expectations for switching to physco

yo im currently doing econ, maths and geoography, but i lowkey fucking hate geography and im thinking off switching to other subjects, i wanna do law in the future and i know that eng lit/history is really good for that, but at the same time those 2 subjects are incredibly bias/hard to get A* in comparison to other subjects.

For those of you taking physiology, could you give me things I should be expecting taking physco with no experience? like how time consuming/difficult it is? thanks!
