Do I just need to hang in there?

Lefty here, this came last night. I have always wanted a 12 string Ric, they’re so iconic! But jeez is it hard to play. The width of the neck and the lack of space between the strings make it so hard to play cleanly.

Has anyone else had this experience? Did it get better after playing for a while? Admittedly I have short fat sausage fingers, but even as an experienced guitarist my initial impression was wow playing this is surprisingly hard.

Do I need a janglebox?

Southpaw here. I've been itching for a Ric but they stopped making lefties so the used market is bone dry. After missing out on the last one I was eyeing, I just bought a 360 after jumping on a listing fast. The previous listing included a Janglebox compressor...is this a must for the Ric sound? I have a couple compressors that are fine but is this an especially significant combo?

The one part of E3 that had me scratching my head

I love the arc of the characters in this episode!

How Wyck goes from crazy to the only person who knows what’s going on. How Tom stops asking “why did I let you into my head?“ and is left wondering “why is this happening?”

But my question is this: >!what does the fact that a shot leveled at the Sea Hag turn her into nothing but dirty water on the tiles? Is she real? Does an otherworldly thing just dissipate when faced with deadly physical force?!<

I’m not a person who necessarily needs to be able to wrap my head around physics to suspend my disbelief, but I’d love to know your theories!

I have to admit it

First, I absolutely loved this show. I’m super sad to have finished it and I’m getting ready to start over hopefully with my wife even though she usually hates horror stuff.

But second, I really wanted the teenagers to die. Not necessarily Tom’s kid, even though he was annoying, but definitely the other ones. The brunette was incredibly annoying and insensitive plus the guy was just obnoxious at every turn.

I know they’re caricatures, but as a horror TV show, I was really hoping they would end up in the final body count. Anybody else find them insufferable?

Has anyone ever had a pedal rehoused and hand painted?

I sold a hand-painted example of a popular boutique pedal a year back that I really regret letting go of. At this point it may be easier to purchase a new one and commission an artist to recreate it than to find something like that again. If you know of an artist who does this, please DM me or share a comment.

And yes, I know. I’m stupid for having sold that, life circumstances have changed, and I deeply regret it.
