Should I switch to stable release of Windows 11?

I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11 Home Insider preview version in 2021. My laptop is a 2019 Dell Inspiron 7591 with i5 9th gen, 16gb ddr4 and 512gb ssd and a GTX 1050 with 3gb vram. Should I switch to windows 11 stable release? If yes how can I do it? Or should I go back to windows 10? Or should I stay with the windows 11 preview version?

I don't do any development work. I'm not a techie. My friend had forced me to download it and now I think that was a bad choice.

Any help will be very helpful. Thank you.

Epic level bullsh!t by NIOS.

This is my first rant on this channel. The NIOS system is officially unhinged. I have guided/advised hundreds of students on this subreddit and never have I witnessed this drama. Check it out for yourself. On one hand they want digilocker on the other hand they want orginal.

This system is fcked.

If you are getting tough ODE papers here's the reason

(image for representational purposes only)

The entire ODE system is fully automated. There is zero human interferance. Algorithm makes paper from a question bank of 300-400 questions.

Human paper setters take into account the difficulty of questions, so you'll usually find LPP or mathematical reasoning questions for 6m in public exam, which algorithm doesn't. It only follows given chapter wise weightage and type of question.

Since there are 20 papers per subject in a ODE session, there is no way for examiners to make 20 unique question papers. So they have automated it. Every day at 1 pm the examination centre receives the automatically generated paper online and prints it at the centre itself.

This is the same system followed by the American SAT which conducts year round exams like NIOS.

Here are some reasons why NIOS has automated it.

  1. There are almost 90 papers in each session. Which an ungodly ammount.

  2. They will have to physically deliver and collect paper everyday from the examination centre, which is a massive logistical challenge and will increase costs exponentially.

  3. Unlike public exams where students are distributed equally, Some centres do not have students at all and some are full. Which only increases logistics.

  4. 🔴🔴🔴Most importantly: You can book ODE seat till the last day. If you want to take June 14 ode. You can conveniently book it on June 13. If it was a paper exam the logistics again would increase significantly.

NIOS is sacrificing control over difficulty over convenience.

Violation of Privacy by Pune metro?

Genuine Question for punekars as a fellow punekar.

Why do I need to give consent to share my income information with HDFC bank to a get a freaking metro card ?

And they have no other option. You have to go with HDFC or else you have to get whatsapp tickets everytime.

This feels like a genius extortion campaign by PMC to extort personal data.

Question 1: If I have passed XII from OTHER non-NIOS Board, can I appear for improvement through the ODE system?

Answer: YES. You can appear for NIOS Improvement exam through the ODE system. This is called stream 4. HOWEVER, since you have been successful in your board exam from your non-nios board you will be limited to only FOUR subjects, making you ineligible for exams like JEE. Please check the requirements of your college or institution before appearing under this scheme.

Question 2: Can a passed student from any board apply for TOC?

Answer: NO. The system of TOC is reserved only for overall FAILED students. If you have passed from NIOS or any other board, you are NOT eligible for TOC.

Question 3: I have failed my exam from other board, can I apply for ODE exam?

Answer: YES. You have can appear for NIOS ODE exam under stream 4 and apply for TOC if you have passed in one or more subjects but have failed overall.

Question 4: I am an NIOS student. I did not get good marks in April exam but I did not fail. Can I take improvement exam through ODES?

Answer: YES, you can take FULL or PARTIAL re-examination through the ODE system. You can choose the subject you think you got less marks and reappear for them in ODE. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS FOR NIOS STUDENTS. Same goes for NIOS FAILED studnets.

Question 5: When are ODE results declared?

Answe: The results of ODE exams conducted in each month are released at the end of the next month. Meaning results of June ODE will be released by July end, July exam in August end and so forth. You will receive your digilocker marksheet immediately and your physical marksheet will be sent to your address through post.
