As far as I remember I've always been bad in maths, specially in highschool. I can't say much about anything else other than highschool since I have very little memory of my childhood.

Thing is: math is rather a difficult subject to me. I'm 19 years old and I simply cannot do maths "fast" at all. I guess I understand the very basic concepts but if I don't have a calculator with me it's a mental struggle. I can't properly imagine calculations in my head, a simple problem like "How much is 6 + 8" always ends up in me counting with my fingers or just imagining myself counting with my fingers in my mind instead of outright knowing the answer. Same thing with calculations, I never property learned the tables other than the 5 and 10 one's because they always end up with 5 or 0... Divisions is another story as I kinda understand the main concept like 1/2 or 1/4 but anything else seems rather incomprehensible and any division that's not outright obviously like 6 divided by 3 is impossible to me to do mentally unless I really take my time.

Now in in college and the first math class we had I basically dropped it after a month since everything they said sounded so weird and the fact that it was a virtual class didn't help at all lol. I managed to pass it tho when they redid the class but without the virtual part and honestly even tho it wasn't THAT bad It feels like I was just following a path to do it and not actually understanding what I did.

I also have this quite recurrent problem where I put numbers that just weren't there, completely miss a step or just change stuff around without realizing which makes all the process wrong and damn it's frustrating.

Maybe I was just wasn't teached math properly from the start when I was a kid and it snowballed into me just sucking at it as a whole lol. Funnily enough I remember vividly how horrible it was to study maths with my dad, basically, it never worked and I mentally died after enduring frustration from my own father

Just wondering if there's any ACTIVE rlcraft server with at least some people playing each day. Playing alone feels a little lonely!
