Different country, different building, different people… same story every single time.

So now I genuinely can’t tell if paranormal stories are based on something real or if humans everywhere are just scared by the exact same things.

let’s have a quick bookshelf talk 📚 I'm really curious to know

— a book that met your expectations

— a book that didn’t

— a book that completely exceeded them

— and a book you’re still keeping your expectations high for

I genuinely worked hard this year. I wasn't expecting a miracle but I was confident about crossing 90%. Seeing it fall short just feels... off. Like the effort didn't fully translate into marks.

Also I don't know if it's just me but the English paper checking felt really strict. Almost like unnecessary stinginess in marking answers that should've gotten more marks didn't. I ended up with 75 which honestly doesn't reflect how I usually perform in English.

I'm trying to be practical about it but right now it's a mix of "I know it's okay" and "I know I could've done better."

I recently went to this book market in CSMT which is close to Flora Fountain. Normally I buy books from Amazon. The books were inexpensive, and to my surprise they were of excellent quality with no missing pages and they almost felt like the original. I got two books from this place.
