Not sure if this is the right place to post this

7a/b. SE Pennsylvania

I’ve been taking care of my girlfriend’s lawn.
She’s put several restrictions on me and I’ve been doing my best to keep it in good shape.
No pest or herbicides not ferts. and keep any costs to a minimum.
Generally speaking since ive taken over it in the spring it’s improved a lot at least visually. But it does have its problems.

It’s very uneven lots of low spots.
The “Creeping Charlie” and other I guess ground covers is a crazy.
Pokeweed and milkweed keep popping up.

I’ve been really working at making it look and feel good as a lawn.

My question is what can I do to .. I guess the word is “fortify” it and Improve its over all quality on a budget and without chemicals.

My goal isn’t necessarily to have a perfect weed free lawn.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Included a picture at the end to explain the general make up of the lawn.

First time gardener help orienta lot pop poppies zone 7b/a

Hi so this is my first year trying flowers and I was pretty scatter shot with what and where I planted. I started noticing the neighbors poppies coming up and mine is still this kinda large green mess with no flower in sight.

I think there may have been a from what I was reading that I over fertilizing? I hit the bed with miracle grow about three or four times since april.

I don’t think light is an issue they get at least 6-8 hours of direct/bright indirect light a day. That being said I certainly over estimate how much light other beds were getting when I put them together in the early spring.

Is there anything I can do to induce blooming?

Including the other beds I put together just because maybe you can give me some insight on what I’m doing wrong in general
Anyway cheers and thanks for any advice and info

Edit: I realized I spelled oriental wrong in the title oops

Girlfriend’s rose didn’t bloom last year. Looks like it’s going to explode this year

I’m new to trying to care for roses. She bought this house last spring and told me that this plant didn’t bloom last year and no pruning happened in the fall. Including pictures of the other plants including one that imo is in a very precarious situation
