Before Chapter 12:

Well, this is it. I’m going to do the last 2 chapters today so then I’ll be all caught up. After this, I move onto another fandom. If anyone has recommendations, please tell me and I’ll at least explore them and see if I might like it. Anyways, not expecting anything too crazy because it’s not finished yet, but I think something good is gonna happen.

After Chapter 12:

Oh my. I feel really bad for Empathetic Elephant. Eyes ripped out is gruesome. Still wonder if Empathetic Elephant could die and respawn with eyes, since Catie was fully healed when they respawned. Also impostor oooh who could it be?? I don’t know why but Foxtrot gives impostor vibes, like she caused Catie and Od-Dog to go to the gameshow while they were looking for flashlights, probably trying to slow down their progress. That’s all I got. Kinda scared to see what normal Empathetic Elephant looks like.

After Chapter 13:

That sure is a way to end volume 1. Does Catie have some kind of evil clone? I think so but at least that’s the vibe I got. Also, Od-Dog is very different now. It’s kinda scary. He’s too serious. I have one last theory to give before some ending remarks.

• Its a butt theory but I feel like Od-Dog got switched out between chapters. My guess is that some kind of mimic nightmare exists, which replaced Od-Dog, which has been the real impostor, replacing one character at a time occasionally while they are gone.

Closing remarks:

It was overall pretty good, like a 7.2/10. Not my favourite piece of media but still enjoyable. If anyone has recommendations for other series to do this for, let me know. Before Chapter 10:

Kinda hyped for this one, but I also get the vibe something is going to go very wrong. Sorry about not posting as often, life has been getting busy with school and whatnot. I’ll try to post the last one on either Monday or Tuesday, with the last 2 chapters on it.

After Chapter 10:

Uhh, what?

Genuinely what the heck just happened? I’m so confused right now. I don’t have much to comment on other than holy theorists dream. This has a lot to unpack and I am so confused. Chapter felt too short, partially because there was like no dialogue. Also, I like knew someone was gonna die, or at least the equivalent, but I for sure thought it would be empathetic elephant. Anyways I have a theory just a bad one.

• So in the real world, people like Catie will join the fake world knowingly and willingly, but when inside the world, those memories are slowly erased, then when people die, they are put back to the real world with all their memories from before and during the fake world.
• Also predicting that next chapter is going to go back to the fake world to empathetic elephant and OD-Dog’s povs.

After Chapter 11:

Ok like I knew she was evil but yikes. Also VERY WRONG (I think) WITH MY LAST 2 THEORIES. Also, if everyone can respawn, how many lives do they have? Also, I can only assume Empathetic Elephant is gonna be blind now so if he dies, would that give him back his sight? I don’t know, hopefully something like that gets answered. Overall these past 2 chapters have been great for theorising, but I just don’t know where to go right now. I’ve got nothing. Hopefully some of that gets cleared up in the last 2 chapters!

Before ch7:

Not much to say. Sorry for not doing this daily and having it almost switch to being every other day. Again, I just haven’t been enjoying this series too much which is why I’ve been forgetting about it.

After ch7:

This is gonna be fun. It finally feels like I’m past the introduction. The characters are actually starting to work towards a goal and the gameshow is part of that. Hopefully this means that I should enjoy the story from now on. I’ll try to do the next two chapters today as well to get done with the game show. I know because of the chapter titles. Also where did Funky Monkey get a dragon fruit? Keep that stuff away from him.

• The house is 100% more just like an idea than a physical thing, which is why it is built so wierd and is able to change so quickly. I feel like this also means that there is a way to break it and free everyone.

After ch8:

Probably my favourite chapter so far. I liked seeing the characters doing a bunch of silly things and interacting with each other. I will admit, not a big fan of dancing in general, but it should still be good. Literally nothing to theorise about because it’s just a fun chapter but that’s fine.

After ch9:

Good, solid chapter. Not too much to talk about but I do feel stronger in my theory from before. Also, I feel like there is no way anything goes right next chapter, it would end too quickly. My best guess is that something bad is gonna happen to Empathetic Elephant which is gonna leave Catie and Od-Dog all alone to try and escape. Also, I feel like mother knows whats going on, but is playing dumb so that they stop trying to escape and see what happens when they do. No real theories, but I noticed that Catie is having flashes of her life from before, which feel important but I don’t know how.

Before ch5:

Honestly I got nothing. I’ve been just kinda living life as of lately and there isn’t much for me to say about it so far. Only thing I got is that it’s good, but reading it is never something I really look forward to, just kind something that happens. You know what I mean? Anyways I’ll try to get 2 chapters in today as well.

After ch5:

Ok, well that sure felt like a chapter. I feel like the question of “How does one escape” was answered way too easily. Like Catie just asked and was given a fleshed out answer. Also I do not believe Empathetic Elephants bs for a second, ge could not have been sleeping that hard. Also like, what was Catie’s plan for if Mother walked in on them? Anyways, I have one theory for this, which I feel like I need more but this novel isn’t very theoriseable.

• Either Mother has some power to erase memories from someone or it’s that when someone “dies” they don’t really and come back without their recent memories

Was about to start reading chapter 6 but wth does the title mean by censored, like what could possibly happen in this chapter that would need to be censored.

After ch6:

Once again I feel like questions are being answered too quickly. Like this way basically just a summary of what to do in order to escape, except a plan is needed to get past the nightmare and that it has to be done fast. The other theory is wrong probably, so I have a different one now. Also, some of the text is way too small to be read on a phone, it’s doable but very annoying.

• Whatever the escape method OD-Dog tried to use caused him to go insane, which is why he was trapped in his room for so long and forgot his name
• Even though it’s past Od-Dogs and Empathetic Elephants time, Catie will find a way for them to escape or they will die first.

Before ch3:

Sorry I missed yesterday, stuff happened and I ended up forgetting. I didn’t get the band solo which sucks but it’s my fault in the dumbest way possible. Anyways, I’ll try to do two chapter to make up for the day I missed.

After ch3:

Alright, once again not too much to talk about. This chapter felt more like establishing information we already knew. However, the sketchbook was a good detail that gives me a theory, but otherwise I got nothing.

• As the children spend more time in this world, they slowly become less of themselves. At first I thought it would just be major memories but I believe that it’s everything, like skills and possibly some level of personality

Again, not much. Chapters are a bit too short for me but not bad. Time for chapter 4.

After Ch4:

Gang am I dumb? I don’t know how I didnt think that the doors that weren’t recognised belonged to characters we hadn’t seen yet. I just subconsciously thought that it was the rooms of future characters that would join. Generally the characters have started to feel less 2 dimensional and more real, but I got the flat vibe from Posh Pine and Shy Shark again, so my hope is that Skynix or whoever is just not good at introducing characters. Anyways the start gave me enough for one theory so yeah.

• The TV is definitely some kind of hypnosis machine, but now because of that I feel like it’s possible that the original bodies are gone and are being controlled by the same power as the TV. I don’t know tho

Before chapter 2:

I already did this before but the page randomly refreshed so I have to type all this again. Would have done 2 chapters today had this not happened. Uhh band solos come out tomorrow maybe this time which me luck and I almost forgot about this.

After chapter 2:

Huh, that was a pretty big switch up, and a much shorter chapter. There was a good amount of stuff introduced that gives lots of room for theories, which is nice. I also like how Catie seemed more deep this chapter and less like a shallow bandwagoning character.

Theories:

• The characters are trapped within a simulation, caused from watching the show. Outside of this world. There is probably something taking the bodies away because I trust Catie to have enough intelligence to not go into a basement of lifeless bodies and watch a show.
• Catie got teleported back because the world only loads so far, and once it tries to load information that isn't there, it loads to the nearest backup

Before Chapter 1:

Looks like this is next, and I don’t know how I feel about it. Most recently did this with Murder Drones which is now one of my favourite shows, but I’ve never been much of a graphic novel reader. I’ll try to do one chapter a day until I’m all caught up. I know nothing about this except for the fact that it was made by Skynix who I’ve seen on YouTube a few times. Also if I can get it to work, I’ll try to schedule these for 6:00 AM every day.

After Chapter 1:

Turns out I cannot schedule posts, only mods can, so I’ll just try to do it when I remember each morning.

So far, it’s fine. 1 Chapter isn’t really enough to establish good and thought out characters, so I can’t be too harsh, but right now they don’t feel very deep, like there isn’t much behind surface level. The only real things I got were from Blue and Green (I aint typing allat each time) with their general dynamic, and Red who seems to be the last sane one. Also, despite being the main character, Catie doesn’t feel the most thought out yet, giving pretty plain and average reactions to whatever happens.

Also, there seems to be a lot of parallels with TADC so far, a fairly large cast of characters, who entered a separate world via the use of older technology, with a theme of forgetting their names, having their own unique rooms, a leader of the cast who is a higher level of authority and seems to want the best for everyone while actually being evil, and where eating food is possible but has no effect on anyone. Again, just a few similarities.

Honestly, going into this I want really expecting the writing to be great because I know Skynix for being an artist, not a storyteller. Thankfully, some of the art is great, I like the style and it fits the vibe well, although nothing specific stands out to my as being great. Anyways, time for my theories.

Theories:

• The mother character is definitely evil, or there will be a plot twist where red is evil and the mom is a good guy, probably the first one though.
• If it’s not a plot twist, Red is probably not going to be around for too much longer, I don’t know how death works but it probably exists.
• OD-Dog is probably going to be a secondary protagonist
• The story is going to revolve around escaping this world to go back to the real one
• Even though it has quite childish themes so far, it will take a dark turn, less of a theory more of a statement because it’s rated 16+

Thats all I really have, not too much to go off of but I hope it’s acceptable for now. If there is a better name scheme for the characters please tell me. Might do a double chapter tomorrow if I have time.

Before ep6:

More than halfway done! The band solo results come out when I watch episode 8, so I’ll let y’all know then, even though nobody cares. Read comments and was able to better understand some of episode 5, but it was still a bit confusing, very excited for this episode

After ep6:

I hate it here. Why did it have to be like this. She’s so stupid why. It shouldn’t have been this way 0/10 unwatchable. You don’t just go through a story and then kill off the best character, the dynamic is ruined now.

Genuinely took a day to process this so I rewatched the episode. This is why I did not post yesterday. Everything from now on is the next day

She didn’t die, right? She must have been cloned, or maybe she was able to fend them off after, who knows? She probably just spun around in circles and cut all their heads off. She had so many chances to escape! She could have just killed the red one when she had the gun pointed at it, or shot doll to confirm the kill! WHAT WAS SHE DOING!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAY THAT V WAS CLONED LIKE J SAID SHE WAS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! TRADE J FOR V PLEASE, REPROGRAM THE AI I DO NOT CARE JUST BRING HER BACK. Please, don’t be gone, I can’t watch this without V being here, or else there’s no point. Just let the world end, without V it’s meaningless.

Other than that, I would give the episode an 8/10, a good one but not one of the greats. Killing off V felt unnecessary but at least she proved her worth in this episode. Uzi is gonna be a big problem for the rest of the episodes, because of the corruption thing. At least N seems to be holding it together on the outside.

I remember hearing about Beau before this episode somewhere, I don’t remember where though. When I saw him and heard his name I thought he would end up being a lot more important. The random Aussie drone was a D1 hater, like they didn’t even do anything to deserve being mauled by Velociraptor robots. Also I just didn’t like the vibe she gave off.

Also, I don’t think Uzi and N are gonna try to go back to earth, just a guess though. Honestly the black hole looking thing was sick and they did good making it. I know understand how the Absolute Solver works, I think. It’s almost like a form a drone takes when code is corrupted and the powers it causes are used too much, which can spread to other drones, and both Doll and Uzi have it, which is a problem.

Another theory correction, I thought the wings and tail and stuff were a big problem in a way where Uzi was being possessed, but instead they are something to be used willingly while also being a problem.

The plot of this one was good, except for the ending, which ruined the episode. The idea that they need to follow doll in order to find what she’s after, or something like that, is cool. Also, I really enjoyed how this feel like a horror game in a show, hiding and trying to fight against something you can’t look at.

Other then that not much else I want to add, but remember this is the only episode I watched twice, and if anyone knows what Tessa was typing on the screen around 9:40, that would be appreciated. Think it was gibberish but unsure.

Theories:

• Story will have a much more serious tone while N and Uzi’s relationship grows
• V will be brought back or survived (not copium I swear)
• Uzi is gonna almost get taken over by the solver but is saved by N, by like, the power of friendship or something I don’t know. Maybe just conscience is switched to another drone?
• Doll is gonna be in every episode
• A cutaway of J looking bored waiting at the ship is gonna pop up and make me laugh
• Tessa is gonna try to kill Uzi eventually
• I want to say that a “cure” to the Absolute Solver is found, but I don’t feel like that would be possible
• I am not gonna make a theory about the end but will say that it’s gonna confuse me and the lore videos will be helpful

Thats all I got, tomorrow is band solos so yeah, also might see if I can get 2 in tomorrow to make up for missing a day. Finally, any other show suggestions to blind watch after this a greatly accepted

Before ep3:

Heard that apparently this is one of the best episodes. Also got corrected several times that it’s the Absolute Solver and not just the Solver, probably going to make the mistake very often though. By the way I do read the comments but please don’t spoil it, other I’ll just catch up on Ted Lasso

After ep3:

Great episode, it’s a 9/10 for me. I really love how both Uzi and V almost got trapped, I don’t know why but I just like the idea of traps. The fight scene at the end was awesome, but it felt a little boring to just have it end with the Russian girl getting shot.

The ability to just conjure things surprised me, although I couldn’t really tell what it was because at the beginning it looks like the Russian girl conjured stuff like knives out of thin air, but later on it seemed like it was just telekinesis. Also, Uzi getting these powers is going to make a lot of this more interesting I hope, because right now she seems really underpowered compared to N and V.

The ending was cool, I think it’s good that it was never revealed what her motivations were for killing specific people. Also, at the very end, she was definitely just one of the holograms from the Absolute Solver. Seems small but wanted to mention how I liked the parallel of Uzi and N by them both actively avoiding stepping on the roaches, I really like these things. Finally, I am excited to see what happens with the human and J, because I don’t know how the woman is supposed to fight but she is either just really skilled, has a great kit, or both. No matter what, gonna be cool seeing them fight.

I do have a few criticisms with this though. I am really scared but hopeful that all of the questions that are being given get answered, because right now it feels like every episode answers 2 questions but gives you 10 more. Also, there were a couple moments where I feel the animation quality went down some, specifically near the end, while the scene is focused on Uzi, N is almost fully on screen clearly but stands very still, which could be intentional but I don’t like it.

Theories:

• Next episode will have a larger focus on the woman and J, Uzi learning the weird Conjuring/telekenisis thing, and there will be another appearance of the Absolute Solver
• I hope it’s not like this but I get the vibe that the rest of the show is going to take place within the worker drone area or just outside of it
• One of the other pods will land soon because I remember there being 3 but I think only 1 or 2 landed
• We learn about the Russian girl’s motives next episode
• Next episode will be a bit more chill I think
• V is going to be a part of the crew next episode but not for the rest of the series
• I think the Russian girl was following orders from the Absolute Solver, which is why so many parts were in secluded areas and why the Absolute Solver was there at the end to project her image
• Uzi’s dad is going to end up dying to save Uzi near the end of the story, just getting those vibes from his character
• (The big [shot] one) JC Jenson is trying to kill the worker drones because they all have the conjuring ability hidden within their code and design and believe that they will be able to create something that destroys earth. Probably wrong but felt like I needed a big theory instead of a bunch of ones for next episode

Overall rating is like an 8.5 now, see you tomorrow, probably a bit earlier because of my schedule. Gonna finish Ted Lasso Season 1 now
