Cinnebar moths 🥰

Found 3 of them on this little weed in the shady corner of my patio. 100% leaving it for them to snack on. Hoping we can leave them overwinter since their pupae tend to stay on the ground don't they?

Advice for raising concerns to management about mat leave cover

I am a clinical band 7 and due to go on mat leave later this year.

My team is made up of me and a band 6.

We are interviewing for a new band 6 to join the team whilst I am off, with the idea that my current colleague will take over some of the jobs that I currently do (MDTs and representation at divisional meetings). We are also in the process of setting up an outpatient clinic with one of the consultant surgeons this should be starting before I go off.

My band 6 has been told by our management that she will not be given any more pay for taking over my duties whilst I am off alongside training up the new band 6 that will be starting.

I do not feel this is fair. She has been told there is no room in the budget which I don't really believe. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated!

The bees love it but I have no idea what it is

It only flowers around this time, the rest of the time it is a prickly and sparse looking shrub. I always think about pulling it out but then it flowers and I fall in love with it again.

Bees!

So happy that there are so many! Counted at least 7 loving the pink flowers on this shrub and on the cat mint under it.
