Turkey Hill Choco Mint Chip vs Signature Select Mint Moose Track

Which ice cream is considered higher quality between these two? Supermarket near me usually has both for good deals (2 for $5). I've tried both and each has their pro's and con's.

But from a quality perspective which is superior? I've added a pic showing the ingredients for both.

Co-op programs for CS Majors at NU

Hi, had some questions about Co-ops at NU.

  1. Are there Co-op programs at NU for CS Majors in the Weinberg CS program?

  2. I heard about the Walter P. Murphy Cooperative Engineering Education (Co-op) Program at McCormick, but not sure if's it's for CS majors or just engineering majors.

  3. Pro's/Cons of Co-op programs

  4. What's better Co-ops or Internships, and which are easier to obtain?

  5. How feasible is it to graduate in 4 years as a CS major while doing 2-3 Co-ops?

McCormick CS vs Weinberg CS

Hi, upcoming freshman who has a few questions on deciding on which CS to take at NU. I have a up to 5-6 AP classes that may transfer.

  1. Pro's/Cons of McCormick CS vs Weinberg CS
  2. How are NU's internships opportunities for CS majors these days given the terrible job market?
  3. Any difference in job/internship opportunities with McCormick CS vs Weinberg CS
  4. Given my 5-6 AP classes, would McCormick be better option? I heard Weinberg only accepts 2 AP classes.
  5. Is it possible to transfer in more than 2 AP classes at Weinberg CS?
  6. Is CS and Econ double major worth it for more job opportunities? I'm mostly focused on getting jobs in tech or business/consulting. Not interested in IB/Finance jobs.
  7. Is it considerably more difficult to double major in a non-engineering field if you're in McCormick? I know McCormick students can still double major in Weinberg. However, I'm asking in terms of workload. While CS is my main major, I'm likely looking to possibly also major in Econ. Would that be harder to balance with social life, ECs, internship hunting, etc., in McCormick?
  8. This is specifically for McCormick students but have the engineering classes benefited you career-wise? I know internships and software engineering opportunities are largely similar but I'm wondering if things you learned in the engineering classes were of any value to your career or work in internships/post-grad.

I know most people say it comes down to preference. However, I think I'd be fine taking most requirements in either. I also don't mind suffering a bit more if it helps me career-wise in any way. Currently, I'm very indecisive so if anyone has advice/insight, pls share. thank you.

2023 Amended Refund to pay 2025 Balance advice

Hi, for 2025 year I owe $3,000 to IRS. On May 15, 2026 I called IRS and was told by the rep that this amount owed would be offset by a 2023 amended refund of $3,300 that kept getting failed to deliver to me the past year. My IRS account showed a balance of $0 owed for 2025.

However on June 15, 2026, I received a check for the 2023 amended refund of $3,300 and my IRS account shows that I have an amount due of $3,000 for 2025. I talked to a different IRS rep and they told me not to cash the 2023 amended refund of $3,300 check because an offset was processing to clear out the $3,000 I owe for 2025. They told me to call back in July.

Today I talked with a third IRS to get an update, and they said that they don't see anything regarding an offset of my 2025 balance owed using my 2023 amended refund. The IRS rep recommended that I return the amended 2023 refund check to the IRS so that they can offset the 2025 balance I owe. Then they will send me the difference of about $300. I told the IRS rep that why don't I just cash the 2023 amended refund check and use it to pay off my 2025 balance, as this would save time/effort and stop my 2025 balance from accruing interest/penalties. The IRS rep said that they would not recommend this and that I should go with their recommendation of sending the 2023 amended refund check back and let the IRS process it to clear my 2025 balance.

At this point I'm not sure what to do, as my 2025 balance owed is growing through interest and penalty, and thus I am looking for advice. Each IRS rep I talked to tells me different things and I just feel a high level of incompetence from them.

Hi, I'm a 32yr Male. My close friend (32yr Male) of over 20 years is getting married next weekend and did NOT invite me to his wedding until today.

We haven't hung out in about 2 months (tbh his fault as I constantly reach out and he keeps saying he is busy). I knew he was getting married but hadn't gotten an invite so I didn't know when or where. One of our long time close mutual friends called me yesterday and asked if I want to go to the wedding together with him. I asked him when he got the invite and he said a month ago. I told him I never got an invite and he was shocked. He said he's going to speak to my soon to be married friend.

Now today my soon to be married friend texted me an informal invite with details such as date (next weekend) and location, likely because my mutual friend spoke to him. However I don't feel like going as all this left a bitter taste in my mouth. And I know he didn't forget to invite me because even though we haven't hung out in past 2 months, we still texted (albeit less from him).

What thoughts/advice can thus subreddit provide?

MNZL seems to filter out BDS companies like MSFT/NVDA/GOOG. While it is not perfect, it seems to be an improvement from SPUS from an ethical perspective.

I was curious on this subreddits thoughts on MNZL and if it's actually a big improvement from SPUS ethically speaking.

Additionally MNZL is fairly new (Inception Date 2025-11-18), so I was wondering the risks around that compared to the longer established SPUS.
