I could not make a repost here. The white kit looks great, but 10Bet Lions? Team for tomorrow looks strong too.
The standard plan is for 90 000 km's. I want to continue service at dealer for next few years. I have no plans to sell my car for many years. Should I take out an extended service plan (assume I can)? What did you do?
I am new to this and to AI.
I am a Hugeneot descendant. My family history from the 1690's to a generation before me is well documented and published by, amongst others, people in my line.
I want to bring my family tree up to date and go back to France for 1680's and earlier. Those are my two goals
I see AI's hammered here. I had an excellent experience. I used Claude to set up person sheets, family sheets, an Excell spreadsheet to contain the register, line of descendants, etc. All my set-up work was done on its advice, in reaction to my suggestions and questions. It worked great.
I had access to five registers. I used the latest one for Claude to build my tree based on published work, and then tested it against the other four for discrepancies. It worked great. I have a few matters to follow-up, clearly marked.
Claude populated the various sheets. I set it up so that it reflects the secondary source (the registers) but with the printed page left blank. It is for me to add the page numbers. That is my audit.
I used Claude to record the various theories about where in France our family lived, and what their names were., I asked Claude to test them against the known facts and errors of logic. It did great work.
It then analysed the pointers/clues (names, dates, folklore, etc) and suggested a plan of action for my research that is to follow. Time will tell if it is a good plan. I have tested the plan by asking as many questions as I can think of, and by asking Claude to ask questions. It looks solid to me.
I use Claude to produce reports about progress to date and outstanding matters. It works like a charm.
I have several old books in some electronic format. I use them to look for unexpected angles, nice life stories to add colour to our story, etc. Claude searches them for me in minutes.
I spent significant time to learn how to use Claude before I started.
Now it is over to the hard part. But Claude helped me refine what to look for, in which place, over what periods. It even has written letters for me, to copy and paste.
An expert I am not. AI gets a lot of hate here. But it has made this all look possible and leave time to walk the dog.
I quite like the idea of Horn at 10. But then, we have a great 10 as it is. And I like Francis as backup. If Horn becomes another option, we need backup at 15 as he already plays so much.

I am very pleased with Venter and Andrews joining us.
In a few days we will remember 16 June 1976, 50 years ago. I was a teenager then. I wonder how many of us were teenagers or older then? I would like to read personal stories about what you remember.
I guess families have stories too.
(I was classified White back then, but I give myself no racial classification.) EDIT: I raise this as this happened in a racially divided SA. Experiences were different in different communities. I would like to hear from all.
Last night I sat in a depression. Munster had to do one thing, one thing: Beat Connacht. They lost, with 5 points going to Connacht. Had Munster done the right thing, the top 8 was secured and our place in the Champions Cup. Now this may be down to Lions vs Munster to secure our place, the last game of the URC.
We played well against Leinster. They were too good, but we were better than the scoreline. All I can think of (thinking back a few games) is Ritalin to some of our locks to help them focus. But my blood is red.
Do you add anything to take care of the injectors?
Are we seeing the beginning of a realisation that staying with the Lions in fact is good for your rugby? Or am I just biassed in my belief that at best some of them have stayed at the same level as the move did not benefit their rugby?
When you look at the table, the rankings are tight. You may need 60 points to be a top 4. It could be 4 Irish sides, or 3 SA sides. It is tight. We sit at 52 points.
Is the team ending 8th assured of a place or is there another rule?
Especially with that clear drop off from Connacht to Ospreys.
I really hoped the Stormers would take care of Connacht. Now we have one more that is an issue. 🫣 Go Lions!
