Surely there should be a special prize for this achievement? 🤣

I have both a Yuzu and a "Yen Ben" lemon, both planted at the same time last spring in identical 22 litre pots with identical soil, and getting pretty much exactly the same light and conditions etc.

The Yen Ben has been thriving, growing rapidly and producing lush foliage and many flowers and tiny lemons. But the Yuzu seems to be struggling, only growing a few leaves and generally looking quite sparse and sad.

The newest leaves at the top of the plant look ok but the rest have been curling up. I think it was always like this since I got it but seems to have gotten worse over time. I did make sure to water frequently over summer (not much need for it now - I'm in New Zealand and we're heading in to winter). Soil is well drained and I certainly don't think it ever got over-watered.

One thing I've noticed is that there is a light powdery substance on many of the older leaves. Pretty sure this is NOT residue from rain or watering as it's not on my other plants (including the Yen Ben), so I wonder if it's some sort of mildew that could be causing the leaf curl. If so, what should I be treating it with?
