Peak Design Capture Clip to tripod mount adapter, what are my options?

I'm so confused and my lack of spatial skills isn't helping as I try to visualize what may work.

I have the PDCC v3 already, and the part that attaches to my camera is 3.8cm square. It attaches perfectly to my backpack strap and, have already hiked with it my last trip and it works well. I have another national park trip planned in a few weeks.

Also, I already have the Cambophoto 73" aluminum travel tripod, the square mount/quick release plate bottom part (image #6) that pops into the tripod is 4.2cm square (can't add Amz link).

I will generally have the camera on my backpack strap, though there will be times I'll hike with the tripod too when I want to take some astrophotography shots, family shots on the trail or maybe set up and wait for the clouds, sunset or lighting to be just right.

Clearly, I cannot simply pop the camera off and just click it into the tripod since they are not the same size. I'd prefer not having to use the allen wrench to remove the PDCC piece each time I want a tripod shot though, so . . .

Is there some sort of adapter/connector that would allow me to keep the 3.8cm PDCC piece in place on my camera and still use the 4.2cm tripod I already have?

Specific products, amz or photography store links for options that would work would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

To the gentleman at Stone Creek in Greenwood who . . .

secretly paid for our dinner, thank you!

Your kindness and generosity to strangers was appreciated. It was such a nice act from what the server described as your overhearing we were there for our 32nd anniversary dinner.

I hope you, your wife, your son (I'm guessing) and his wife/gf all have a great evening.

You've got me thinking of ways to pay it forward now.

Thanks again.

We had her the last 5.5 years of her life, constant love from her. She always wanted on your lap, loud purrs and she was happy and loved.

We think she was about 14-15, ended up with a pancreatic condition, kept her going the last year with meds, but she was just getting too tired to go on.
