SENDING TEXTS TO PARENTS ON OUR ABSENCE?!

why is the college sending texts to parents if we are absent for one class. man, i have my own reasons sometimes to skip classes, and knowing where my parents come from, its difficult to make em understand. they think im at college only for going to classes and coming back to room.
even schools dont behave this way man wtf, genuinely whats going wrong w them. is there any way i can get the parents' contacts changed? thinking to give my elder sibling's instead.

AITK for jokingly bringing up that my bf stayed in contact with a girl he used to like?

We started dating in the first year of college.

Early on, he told me he'd confessed to a girl in his school (his junior) and she had rejected him. He also mentioned she still texted him for exam advice/doubts sometimes even though she rejected him, and he'd always reply.

I told him I didn't like that given the fact that I'd blocked my ex and the guys I liked previously from everywhere the moment we started dating, and it bothered me that he was still in contact with someone he used to have feelings for.

I brought it up more than once over a few months before he actually blocked her.

It's been about a year now. Sometimes I bring it up jokingly, like teasing him about how he was still talking to that girl even though we were already dating for 2 months at that time.

He gets upset and says it hurts his feelings and asks me not to joke about it. I feel like, he's the one who kept talking to her in the first place, I had to ask multiple times before he blocked her, so why does he get to act hurt about it now?

Am I in the wrong for still bringing it up as a joke? Or is he being overly sensitive about something he caused himself?

I'm in one of tik mess', they've asked me to pay an amount of 6k for me to access mess food till 20th of May.

since exams are ongoing, i do need mess food till 18th may max, but I don't see the point in paying 6k for the remaining 14-15 days.

what do i do?

currently on hms, it's showing I have a mess balance of 4.7k
