I listen on Deezer (which may be the problem) but I've never listened to these guys before and this is the fourth time I'm listening to a porcupine tree song and then I hear this interrupt my prog rock listening experience.

This showed up in my memories this morning and totally forgot to ever post it lol

I was very curious as to why Haken shifted to a much more modern and slightly less progressive sound, and I now see how they hired an actual producer for this single and it just so happens to be the producer who works with Loathe and Sleep Token.

Personally, I'm very scared. I very much hope that the rest of the album does NOT sound like sleep token. If I wanted to listen to sleep token I would, but I do not, which is why I like listening to Haken lol.

Oh well though, what do you folks think? I definitely don't hate the new single. I like it and it's very different, not entirely in a bad way, I just hope and pray that they don't get stuck in the same monotonous songwriting cycle that leads to the cookie cutter modern "metal" sound.
