Munchkin brand says "moms CAN'T have it all"?!

Has anyone seen this?

Munchkin, which makes those 360 sippy cups, is being SUED for $10M for allegedly being "engaged in a War on Families that included disparaging mothers as ‘crazy’ or ‘cowards,’ who ’can’t have it all, and even reprimanding them on Bring Your Kids to Work Day with their children present"

WHAT THE 😱😡!!!

Is The Valley fandom in denial?

I grew up in an alcoholic family and became an alcoholic myself. I'm in AA and don't miss it.

One "high functioning" alcoholic family member in denial can have devastating effects on multiple people's lives.

Here's a reminder of the cost of Danny's drinking. Consider how this effects his partner and family of four children--today and in the future:

Danny's Drinking:

- Negatively impacting his life
- Negatively impacting his marriage
- Negatively impacting friendships
- Has engaged in reckless behavior while drinking that harmed others
- Engages in reckless behavior while drinking that harms himself
- Past inappropriate behavior while drinking has reduced others' comfort
- Poor decisions made when drinking have reduced others' trust
- Lies about alcohol use
- Hides alcohol use
- Denies he has a problem
- Deflects from his problem by pointing to others
- Acts defensive about his drinking when confronted
- More emotionally volatile and prone to anger when drinking
- Experiences regular conflict as a result of his drinking
- Compelled to drink in situations where not drinking would better serve him
- Continues to drink in spite of all the consequences abovehip

"We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable"

- Step One, Alcoholics Anonymous

Graham Platner recruiter Daniel Moraff's past sexual misconduct complaints surface

Yale Law School student and Toys “R” Us heir, Daniel Moraff, who recruited Graham Platner along with his fiancé Leanne Fan, was barred from the 2022 congressional campaign of Pennsylvania Representative Summer Lee.

The campaign received at least three separate complaints of sexual misconduct and harassment against Moraff from female staffers and organizers.

Have you ever been "Melanie's friend" or "Sincere's friend" IRL? Share stories of how you handled it!

It's easy to say that we'd do differently and better than Mela's friends in the villa. And sometimes we've had the friend who does their partner dirty, not once but repeatedly.

How did YOU handle it?

Season 8: A masterclass in emotional invalidation

This post 👆 reminded me of Love Island. What are some examples from Season 8 y'all have noticed? Looking for examples for our own awareness, NOT to talk shit or complain please 😇🙏

Invalidation this season:

"But I chose you"

"But he was always going to pick you"

"But I know he likes you"

"But he always talked about you to her"

"But nobody picked me"

"But he doesn't properly say how he feels"

"I was exploring connections, but my intentions were never to hurt anyone"

"I stood over you and yelled, but that's not me"

"I feel bad, but I've never dated two people before. It's not natural for me."

"I'm sorry if I hurt you, but I had to put me first"

"Melanie is Sincere's person"

"A kiss is like a handshake, is how I'm seeing it"

"I know I'm not a fucking bad person"

"I know I'm not a bad friend"

"I feel like you're mad at me for exploring connections"

"I'm always Team Melanie's feelings...but if I wanna be team Sincere, then I'm gonna be team Sincere"

"I think you should forgive his ass"

"Zach, we all know you would have picked her"

"I didn't mention she left Casa, but I told you what was important"
