NIMCET 2027 preparation: Self-study or online coaching?

Hi everyone! I’m planning to prepare for NIMCET 2027 and I’m a bit confused about how I should approach my preparation.

My Maths is quite weak, especially when it comes to the basics, so I’m not sure whether self-study would be the best option for me. I’m considering either:

  1. Self-study using different resources (YouTube, telegram)
  2. Joining an online NIMCET coaching, where I can follow a structured schedule and have proper guidance.

I’m leaning towards coaching because I feel that having someone teach the concepts from the basics and having a fixed structure might help me, but I’m also wondering if it’s actually worth paying for a course when there are so many free resources available.

For those who have prepared for NIMCET, especially if your Maths was weak initially:

  • Would you recommend self-study or coaching?
  • If coaching is better, which institute would you recommend and why?
  • How good are the popular NIMCET online courses when it comes to teaching Maths from the basics?
  • Is it better to join a full course or just take Maths classes and self-study the other sections?
  • If you self-studied, what resources did you use?

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have actually prepared for NIMCET. I’m trying to choose the right approach before I start seriously, so I don’t end up wasting time or jumping between too many resources.
